    Happy birthday Rosy :)

Thank you for the advice Honey - I think it really interests me, but I guess it's difficult to tell until I start really studying properly. I just found out today that tutorials are going to be held at a college which is fairly close to me, so I'll try to go to as many of those as possible :) It's lucky that my weekend working day recently changed to Sunday, as they're all held on Saturdays.

I got a letter from HM Revenue & Customs telling me that I am due a repayment of income tax for the year 2011-2012. So, I'm adding a cheque for £12.04 to my pot today (if that's allowed?) :)

Sadly, I think the answer has to be no, Happybeingme. :( I'm sure a lot of members, who can afford it, are able to put a weekly sum of money/save for stamps for Christmas and that it could add up to quite a sum if included with SPC savings. So in an MSE way of looking at it, it seems a little unfair to include savings from elsewhere when not everyone is able to.

I hope folk think this is a fair view, but I'll gladly listen to anyone else's take on it - any views, comments?

Ooooo I really thought that one would be a yes as I didnt think it would be any different to potting the £1's from her purse, isn't she just converting her spare £1's to Mr T savers stamps before opening day rather than after IYSWIM?

Seems funny to allow Mr T clubcard points vouchers etc but not savers stamps especially as its money that would prob go in her pot anyway if she wasnt buying them? :o

£2 coin in the small pot, 80 odd pence in the big pot today from PO, starting to build up speed now we're getting close

    PLEASE NOTE

Would the last of most recent members (names below) please alter your SPC Nos on your signatures for me? Sparky (bless him) has just bought to my attention the fact that I've made a ****up and put the last few numbers round the wrong way. :o The correct ones are below. If you could all alter them - and let me know you've done so - I'd be so grateful. Thank you, you too sparky. :T You're a star.
