Good morning all
Gosh, I've missed so many posts. I've managed to read the last couple of pages and so many people are poorlyGet well soon to you all....
We have just come home after almost 2 weeks on a touring holiday ending in Edinburgh which is absolutely amazing, so much so, in fact, that we paid for an extra night so that we could see a bit more. Needless to say I have nothing to potso nose to the grindstone again from today. I might have some change after food shopping later today.
The thing I found a bit tough in Edinburgh was the number of people begging for money along the Royal Mile. My OH stopped me from giving them anything but I felt so mean and very sad for them. What would the rest of you do?
Hope you all have a good day xSealed Pot Challenge #012

Morning all
Good news about peeps feeling a bit better - hugs all round.
Welcome to our newbie AbbeylouE1, am sure you will enjoy being on here.
Been doing the usual £1 per day and additional scrapnel which has amounted to..... wait for it....... £4.80 and 3 x £2 coins for the owls head.
Sue-UU - my new student? well you couldn't ask for someone so different to the last one. I hardly know shes here, thats why I haven't reported any fun and games as she has been a model lodger! I introduced her to the charity shops and she is hooked, she bought a new dress, 5 x dvds, 4 x books all for under a tenner!!
She has a shower regularly, no smelly trainers, no boxer shorts hanging from the light (don't ask), she comes home from school and actually does her homework and asked me sign it off in her report book! Not sure if my lodger last year even know what homework was or what the homework sign off book looked like!
She still eats everything I give her, bar meat as she is a veggie, but I did see her eyeing up the bacon butties and she licked her lips!!
Her clothes washing so far as consisted of school shirts x 2, school trousers x 1, various bits of undies and a t shirt! Now the other one had jeans in every colour of the rainbow (including pink and purple) and he put them in the wash after wearing once, but he never twigged on about fabreeze and the trouser press!!
Am waiting for the bubble to burst....... I hope it doesn'tSPC Nbr.... 1484....£800 Saved £946 in 2013)

Thanks for sorting folk out with the Saturdays, Ruth, you're a real help, but have too many stars ATM.
I know, i've had to start deleting things from my sig to make room. They of course, take precedence (sp?). Still like to help though even if i don't get starsdinglefoot wrote: »Nothing potted again today
I was going to go to an open day of a local historical building and a vintage fair. My OH took me in the car to Asda to get some petrol (about a 15 minute drive), but I felt too ill to go to the vintage fair and we came homeI was looking forward to it for ages as well, I was going to dress up and put my hair in victory rolls and everything
This morning just taking a shower and getting ready and going up and down the stairs a couple of times made me feel exhausted. Stupid flu/cold thing...and I've got to go to work tomorrow
Hopefully I'll actually manage to get a decent night's sleep tonight.
Sounds like it would have been a fantastic day. Sorry to hear you were poorly.
I have got some change to add to my pot. I will add it tonight and pot my findingsSealed Pot Challenge member #071 VSP #4

Hi Everyone, so many months still my last post. Since then I've moved house but have been regularly potting my coppers, 5p, 20p and £2 which was the challenge I set myself. I've absolutely no idea how much I have saved but just wanted to check in and get some motivation from reading your threads. Am hosting Christmas for the family this year and along with a bigger mortgage I need every penny I can get. It's going to be so good to open and have 'free' money. Keep up the good work everybody.MFW 2013 #146 Target £6000

Welcome back emmita
It sounds like you've got good self-motivation as well, which always helps
I sent my OH out to the shop and he's been very good. Only stuck to what he was asked to get, got the right thing and waved 7p at me and said "it's going in the pot!"SPC '21 #0750
