Oh ladies, the final straw was the butter, I said to him to get I can't believe it's not butter as its on BOGOF but if he couldn't find them it was fine as I wasn't desperate for it, well he came back with utterly butterly at £1.80 a tub as, and I quote, 'I couldn't remember what you asked for'. He was in the butter aisle when I hung up!!

:rotfl: Thanks for that Jakes-mum. I do love hearing about the antics our husbands get into. I came home the other day to find my flat full of smoke and my husband in the hallway clutching a spatula in his hand looking sheepish and insisting that there is absolutely nothing going on in the kitchen. After promising that I wouldn't go ballistic (in my mind i thought 'we'll see') my husband eventually confessed that he was trying to make something in the grill oven and things got a bit out of hand
Maybe I'll buy a fire extinguisher for him for xmas :rotfl:

Yaaayyyyyyy, dinglefoot, he's a man and they're always slower in catching on, but he's getting there and will love the counting up time!
That £45 was a FANTASTIC find, dinglefoot!! BTW, you're very wise in not paying out for cards for each other etc it can be a lot of wasted cash for almost nowt, a good idea to go ring shopping in the Boxing Day sales. Give your Dr's advice a shot...nowt to lose, but maybe a lot to gain!
The saying "time is a healer" is absolutely true, Helen, it helps us get more used to missing loved ones.Well done on that cash saved! If you can get to £250 before Christmas it would be such a motivation for you - for this year and others!! Did you want me to put it on the 1st page to help you?
HOK3Y wrote:I have had the pot (it's a coffee jar with a screw top) for a while and might not have actually sealed the top.......naughty step for HOK3Y!Funny because I have already sealed the one for next year! I should probably do it......it can be one of the DFW things I did today!
Shame on you, HOK3Y! Not another one that gets things a**e about face then, we have plenty of those, though I won't say who, yet! :shhh: I take it you're still on the naughty step with no choc or biscuits!
Good to see you back, LC 2!! I don't know about you, but I really miss those little tyrants, bless em. :A
By eck, Lynsey, you're getting so much closer now! Keep it going! :j
It'll be wonderful for you, Nell, when we get to Xm*s, beyond also for you to be really well. :j
Thanks for sorting folk out with the Saturdays, Ruth, you're a real help, but have too many stars ATM.
Excellent work with that forward planning, Rosy, terribly MSE! Has she not got a shed for you? :rotfl:
Very well done, jakes-mum, just keep pushing onward and you'll get there!
Good to hear you're getting your scooter back, sparky! I hope you're really enjoying this weekend after so much night work. Rest well, J too, if she's able.
Thanks for the reminder, mummytummy, by golly time goes whizzing by!
Talking of chocolate, (well, a few days ago) Belgian is the best to my mind...delicious!!
£4.61 added to the pot, well done DH!!Have a lovely day weekend, everyone, stay safe, healthy and keep saving!

OK, Helen, it's all done, now all you need to do is - GO FOR IT!!!!! :j
Re the problem, I'm seeing "£43.97" on it now, is that correct or should it be £53.97?
You've not got a cluttered signature so it should be fine. You're probably doing so anyway, but be sure to click on "Submit" once you've altered it. If you're still having problems then leave it today and try again tomorrow after restarting your PC. It'll all come right.
Well done with your saving, Helen, you are really doing superbly!!! :T
