Hooray, I managed to scavenge 6 meals from the cupboards/freezer (just need 3 cheap ingredients to make them complete meals) so I'm quite pleased :)
Looking took double the time it should have, because my cat kept half climbing into the cupboard, so half the time was spent hooking her out :D Still, hopefully the saving now will make way for future potting pennies? :)

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Evening all.

dinglefoot - congratulations and a budget to work with.

jakes-mum - I managed to get 3 x £2 coins today, but they have been scarce. Sainsbury's s/scan tills are pretty good for them.

So £6 potted tonight and almost at my target.

£496+ potted so far and I'll hit that "magic" £500 either tomorrow or Friday.

I've potted several £'s over the past few days. I've just been paid -yay!

Jakes-mum - I reckon that a lot of people save their £2 coins leaving none for the rest of us ;)

Dinglefoot - congrats on setting the date and good luck with the saving. My friend had a MSE-like wedding on £2,500 grand so it can be done. X

    Morning everyone
Dalit pottage went in this morning. 17p road change also potted money found walking to & from work & walking the dog.

Think the nasties are back today or tomorrow so our peace and quiet goes out the window!

Everyone seems to be doing well with their pots can't wait for the grand total this year. Hopefully you'll all keep me busy for a couple of days totting up all you totals!

A man on his Harley was riding along a California beach when suddenly the sky clouded above his head and, in a booming voice, God said, 'because you have tried to be faithful to me in all ways, I will grant you one wish.'

The biker pulled over and said, 'Build a bridge to Hawaii so I can ride over anytime I want.'

God replied, 'Your request is materialistic; think of the enormous
challenges for that kind of undertaking; the supports required reaching the bottom of the Pacific and the concrete and steel it would take! I can do it, but it is hard for me to justify your desire for worldly things. Take a little more time and think of something that could possibly help mankind.'

The biker thought about it for a long time. Finally, he said, 'God, I wish that I, and all men, could understand women; I want to know how she feels inside, what she's thinking when she gives me the silent treatment, why she cries, what she means when she says nothing's wrong, why she snaps and complains when I try to help, and how I can make a woman truly happy.

God replied: "You want two lanes or four on that bridge?"
