You're kidding right? I can't move for work at the minute. It's that intense, I went to buy a bottle of pop and ended up doing a 2hr consultancy job last week. Probably off back next weekend to build a gondola and relay the bloke's shop (you free WL - it's down the road from you?).

Not sure yet, may be doing a run of weekend couples visits. Ping me some details and ill let you know

Will do, still talking a price at the minute, if it even happens. Let me know back end of the week if you're available, I've got a standby if not so don't go dumping work for it.

Anyone had any problems getting paid by hs brands?
Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?

Has anyone done the React Technology shop?. Its been lurking on my board for quite a while and reading the brief it looks rather a detailed report.

My guess is that like myself -others are bit wary as looks like a TNS phone job with one of those lovely long React reports, that they so love...

    Anybody done one?

I simply stating fact: I have posted a handful of times and no one has said a dicky bird to welcome me on here. I feel like a leper, a squatter, an unwelcome nuisance. My first response - from Big Graeme - was rude and curt.

Just pointing out facts, whether they appear harsh or not, doesn't alter those facts.

Of course there are useful tips and advice on here, which is why I joined up, but some of those are / will be provided by me too.

I just think it would just be a lot pleasanter on here if existing contributors were more welcoming like they are on other forums I contribute to. Is that such a tough call? I don't think so.

You are looking to take money out of our pockets don't expect the red carpet. You will get the responses your posts merit, sugar coating is done elsewhere.

Also if you are quoting someone can you just check what you quote, clients and fees shouldn't be quoted as it means the OP can't edit out the comments.

Got one tomorrow, they want me to take another. I've told them on no uncertain terms that if the report is a PITA then I'll not be doing another. Work is plentiful at the moment, I can be picky what jobs I do and anything that wants the bible wrote in comments will just get passed on.

I let you test the water first. It looks like one of their video diaries in words, which I dread...

I hardly call saying 'hello, welcome to the forum' red carpet treatment. I do call ignoring people and answering them in a curt fashion 'rude'

I have been a shopper for a while now and am very successful at it, thanks. With your perspective on the work overall from all MSCs, chances are you are taking money out of my pocket, just as easily. Besides, work is not YOURS until it is allocated to you.

Also, I have not quoted any clients or fees relating to specific clients or their work since joining here. I do know the rules. I did say something - in relation to something else you said that was nonsense - about a hike in fee, and gave a fictitious example to illustrate my point. Besides, who made you forum cop?

How did you ever get to be a mystery shopper when you get so much wrong? No wonder you are threatened by newbies on here. :o

Oh !!!!!!, pay the money and get it video'd, classic case of the client being too tight.
