Can't agree with this I am extremely busy and seem to have load of work. I think that the area you live in may have some bearing on the jobs but otherwise it will be a good October.

That's great that you are busy, I am also busy with work.

Haha the torso shop, I like that! How come you're miffed React have them? I just got a couple of visits with them and I'm thinking of just stocking up on xmas pressies

The reports with GR were very easy to do. Not much commentary. I know that REACT reports tend to be very detailed and ask for a lot of information from the ones I have done previously. The fee / reimbursement has gone up but I must admit, I still liked it when they were with GR.

MS seems to be in a 'trough' at the moment. Loads of bank jobs - which I won't do due to the credit search issues and phone shops which I am so bored of that I cannnot be bothered. Joys of MS its either a famine or feast.

You're kidding right? I can't move for work at the minute. It's that intense, I went to buy a bottle of pop and ended up doing a 2hr consultancy job last week. Probably off back next weekend to build a gondola and relay the bloke's shop (you free WL - it's down the road from you?).
Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?

    Hi
Newbie to this MS lark (about a month)! Just a quickie.....can you do the same company shop more than once as long as its a different area?

There are a couple of jobs available and I already have one booked for a different area I am going to later in week. There is still a couple showing as available and just wondered if you can do more than one shop if they are at different places ?? It doesn't mention it in briefing notes.

    Thanks all :-)

    Hello Newbie,

Thought I would reply, given that no-one on here bothers to say hello to newbies, let alone answer them in a civil tone. So I will break that mould. Saves talking to myself, really!

It is really down to each MSC to decide what shops you can do. They don't all have the same rules and often these are governed by the end-client (organisation hiring the MSC to provide mystery shopping services). The best thing to do, if you are interested in going another job for them, is to ring and ask what their rules are - assuming they are not stated clearly, or apply on-line for the job (assuming they have that method of applying) and see whether you get the job. Not being offered the job does not necessarily mean that you won't be able to do more than one shop, it just means that someone else either got there first (FFF method) or the MSC preferred to use a shopper they are used to already. If you are new, it is unlikely that you will be offered more than one job until you can show that you can handle the visit and reporting requirements to their complete satisfaction.

    Good luck with your MSing.
  • Ah thanks for that!
Already done a couple of jobs for MSC and job just gives options of accept/decline job!
Think will try and contact them and see if they can confirm anyway!

    Thanks for saying hello!!!

As I said peaks and troughs and since posting have picked up a load.

Changing the subject Cleo - your comments are somewhat harsh as peeps on this thread do try to help and there are many useful tips and advice given.

I simply stating fact: I have posted a handful of times and no one has said a dicky bird to welcome me on here. I feel like a leper, a squatter, an unwelcome nuisance. My first response - from Big Graeme - was rude and curt.

Just pointing out facts, whether they appear harsh or not, doesn't alter those facts.

Of course there are useful tips and advice on here, which is why I joined up, but some of those are / will be provided by me too.

I just think it would just be a lot pleasanter on here if existing contributors were more welcoming like they are on other forums I contribute to. Is that such a tough call? I don't think so.
