I do think they should update the system to allow use of an app - or go with a provider that doesn't attempt to eek out a few extra pounds from the shoppers. I'd accept some of those jobs if it weren't for the 0870 number.
Mind, the jobs seem to go so maybe no incentive to change. Maybe people call from work so their employer foots the bill. Unfortunately I'm self employed so I pay my work phone bill and my personal one!
Just checked the phone bill, Virginmedia charge 7p per minute for this number, not than bad, at most they last 10 minutes.0 -

Yeah I did a couple of long range ones for a premium. Spoke perfect English when they called. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt at the minute but it only goes so far.Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?

One of the few good things about BT is that the anytime calling plan I'm on includes 0870 numbers so that's how I've managed to do these sorts of calls in the past.0 -
Hi,
Had this email and a phone call on my mobile (which I didn't answer as it was an unknown number. Can anyone vouch for the authenticity of this company? I've never heard of it and they're obviously trying to get me to sign up. I don't know who's sold them my details! Thanks

Will do, still talking a price at the minute, if it even happens. Let me know back end of the week if you're available, I've got a standby if not so don't go dumping work for it.
Anyone had any problems getting paid by hs brands?
I did two jobs for HS Brands and just got paid today, a month early! So no, I haven't had problems with them. Also haven't really heard about problems with them in the US.0 -
I was able to get a gig a few years ago with a firm in the Southwest United States during college. They are called Eagle Eye Retail Intelligence: eagleeyeshops.com
I did 150 convenience stores a month and some grocery stores for $3000.
I have not come across another company that offered such a large route on a recurring basis.0 -

A newbie posting something like that in post number one probably doesn't care.0
