I have sacked RA - after a big argument about refusing to pay for a job they begged me to do...
I pointed out I had not been doing work for them for a while, because I had suspicions they were under-paying me. I also demanded details of all jobs I had ever done for them, along with what I had been paid for each (as is my right under the Data Protection Act). This turned-up significant discrepancies, notably in relation to a recent round of train jobs.
"Whilst we do not agree with the expense amounts you have claimed we would like to bring this matter to a close," was their response, after a long email battle. Shortly followed by full payment of the disputed sum to my bank account. Beware.
They've been paying the wrong reimbursements since before last December, and just ignore my emails asking for the rest of the money I'm owed. I won't work for them either.0 -
I have just had MF reject a scanned receipt for a bookie job and got a proof reading query raised. This is going to affect my grading because I am going to keep submitting scanned receipts. Why do I bother with this company? Oh yeah I enjoy the free bet!
Read the brief, MF are not accepting scanned receipts on most jobs.0 -
Anyone else receive an email supposedly from Bare International Brazil office asking you to log into your bank account then set up a payment and send them screen shots of everything?
Sounds mighty dodgy to me. The English:rotfl: is appalling too. They actually ask for screamshots!!
I just logged on to my Bare account to try and find a contact email address to forward this on, so they can check it out, but can't find one.
Oh well, it's now sitting in my trash. I won't be doing this one for sure!

I agree, my point is that they have never enforced it until now. I have broke this rule upwards of 50 times. If they are going to create a rule they should enforce it, not apply it randomly.
I've had that happen where they came back to me asking to state if the member of staff were or were not wearing glasses. Even though I stated they had no distinguishing. I swear the proof readers get paid on the number of problems they find.0 -

Ah I had one rejected right at the start of them not wanting scanned images, I thought they were rejecting them all.0 -

With lots of companies glasses are part of the standard description, we'd normally add in things like dangly earrings or visible tattoos for any other distinguishing.0 -

I did not know that - I have not done a MF job for ages, so guess they have changed the rules. I would have thought storing large JPEG images on their systems would be more costly, then the smaller files. Shame not accepting scans as I keep the scans for my tax records, so will have duplicate in future as I don't want store large jpeg files for X years...0
