I have sacked RA - after a big argument about refusing to pay for a job they begged me to do...

I pointed out I had not been doing work for them for a while, because I had suspicions they were under-paying me. I also demanded details of all jobs I had ever done for them, along with what I had been paid for each (as is my right under the Data Protection Act). This turned-up significant discrepancies, notably in relation to a recent round of train jobs.

"Whilst we do not agree with the expense amounts you have claimed we would like to bring this matter to a close," was their response, after a long email battle. Shortly followed by full payment of the disputed sum to my bank account. Beware.

How do you know what grade RA have given you? Aside from the fees. the thing that hacks me off most about them is actually a Prophet thing - Scotland is S1 and England is GB. This is annoying in and of itself - no-one here has voted for independence yet. But it also means that frequently Scottish jobs are listed under England and it irritates me to have to check both.

Speaking of grading, TNS grade their reports out of 10. Does anyone know what their grading criteria is?
    Thanks

As clear as mud too, any way of seeing what grade you are now?

If you go into 'edit my profile' it's in there. I'm a lowly D7!!

I'm not sure that a D is low? I had assumed that A was the highest shopper level, but then I noticed that an A shopper can't do small convenience stores which aren't complicated at all (so why wouldn't they be eligible to do them?). Of course, I then sat here and thought "why am I even worrying about this?" :)

I wish I knew. I always seem to get an 8 or a 9 but they never explain why the points are deducted. Same with REACT as they never give an explanation.

My best Sassie company is TERN. They tell you exactly why they have knocked a point off, for example, you didn't put in a full stop or one of your sentences did not make sense.

It kept the newbies off the trail for a while, it was going to end at some point. Been doing less and less of these lately anyway, seems like now they are going to get people worrying about grades rather than paying anywhere close to a decent fee.

Nope, and I don't think there is any point worrying as long as you are getting 8+ I'd say you were doing a good job. If you screw up they'll tell you.
