I agree with what's being said here - I'm not sure the big inheritance thing is going to work, and there's a danger that the MSC will then turn around and say that you shouldn't have taken the assignment. Then you get offered less work/don't get paid/wasted your time and energy. And...the jobs are usually a bit of a nightmare anyway, as they always ask questions you weren't expecting, despite how well-prepared you may be.

What they mean is you are cheap and all the other shoppers they have spoken to wouldn't touch this with a barge pole for the fee offered. Sorry had to be said.

Being cheap not always a bad thing. It more than i making without doing it.

But i see what everyone saying. It does feel a bit odd and not really make much sense to offer it to me in the first place. I call them up tomorrow and see what they really expect or just cancel it.

Just a word of warning to any JKS shoppers, having chased my outstanding payments, they are being incredibly rude and unhelpful, very unprofessional. Another MSC I will be striking from my list- they take 2 bloody months to pay and even then they cannot get it right. The allocators ignore your emails and when I finally got through to someone in accounts, he claims he has paid me 1 outstanding amount and refuses to deal with the rest- giving me some kind of generic email address to be used in future. No doubt so they can continue to ignore the missed payments! He claims it is some problem with my bank, as to why these payments have not appeared in my account nearly 2 weeks after he claims he paid them. I complained that their late/ non-payments were causing me to struggle and he just shrugs off the amount as insignificant. Well, I'm sure he can sit smug, in a well-paid job that he can't manage to complete effectively. But the amounts I'm missing equates to a week's food budget for me. He just made some snide comment about that!

I reckon I'm going to have to strike it all of as a bad debt. I just want anyone else working/ thinking of working for them to be warned!

Some of the financial projects offer a very good fee. Depends who the MSC is, ESA and you are probably right. Elsewhere possibly not.

It had ESA all over it that is why I responded that way, TNS, Bare, GfK and many others wouldn't have put a shopper in that position. I've done several financial shops for other companies and yes I agree there is decent money on offer for the work involved.

Sorry, that wasn't aimed at you, more the dodgy company putting you in that situation.

Talking of ESA I see that the fees for the train jobs have dropped by about a third in comparison to last year. None so far are local stations for me - have to wait to see if more get loaded.

I suggest a strongly worded email to the MD setting out your late payment fees - starting with a £50 admin fee triggered seven days from now, and £10 per day thereafter. Always find that moves things along.

Anyone who did the survey work - did you input info into the usual site as well as the app site that was asked for? I'm a bit concerned that the jobs are still showing on the main site, and I'm getting overdue notices and my reliability percentage is getting lower and lower. Seems a bit off when I input the info into the app days ago.

The IMS one? You need to input the data into the app (or website) AND the very quick form on the IMS site too, that is how they calculate what to pay you.
