Irritated by the constant emails but once you get into the mindest that service will never be great the jobs are a POP.

You can still take them! Role play the visit.

Thanks - but I'm not sure I can. The brief is very clear that you shouldn't be a member and I told the company I am a member on my profile.

Is anybody else 'sick' of seeing TNS phone shops? The various daily emails for shops way out of your area on a premiums. Wish they would target their mailing to 'peeps' in the appropriate areas rather than a 'mass' email approach.
Keep hoping this programme is going to come to an end as I recall this one kicked off in September last year..

    Whinge over..

I've just been told off for my last set of reports looking too similar, when staff are hitting most of the service points and working from a script what do they expect? I call it consistency!

I am hopping to start video shopping soon. I notice that PIP are offering Video shopping equipment and training for approx £700. Has anyone done this training? Did they feel they benefited from it? Or can you self learn to video shop? Any comments thoughts suggestions most welcome.

The kit doesn't cost that much (google "dogcamsport"), so they're making a profit on the exercise. There are other MSC's who provide the training for free.

I tried self teaching, and the results were OK, not great, but OK, but I found getting some training was a real confidence boost.
Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?

Is it just me or do MF seem to be overly ready to reject or query reports that detail information that isn't necessarily exactly what the client wants to hear? I am very careful how I phrase anything but if the staff members are chatting on the till when I enter the store I will say so!

I have been doing assignments nearly every day - sometimes up to 3 a day for the past 2 weeks. Had one queried and one rejected so far. The one I had rejected was due to me carrying it out out of the timescale (it was - by a few minutes- my mistake) - but I did two other assignments that day and one of them was also out of timescale and was put through fine by the same co-ordinator. Funnily enough the one that went through was enquiry only and gave a glowing report of service. The one that got rejected detailed not so attentive staff and I had to make a purchase (which is now a loss).

    Feeling frustrated!

PS I have now registered with other agencies but MF have loads in my area so I can pick up quite a few locally at premium rate last minute. Feeling less impressed with their competence now though!

No it's not just you, quite a few companies have their golden clients.

Is anyone having problems uploading receipts to ABA-i at the moment?. Their reports system is not accepting them when I try to upload.

EDIT: It's a browser issue. Used a different one and it's fine now.

Agh, just had to write up the most difficult report of my life. Massive ethical/ moral dilemma....writing up a CS report for a client against their pre-set standards where they assume I would be assessing a member of staff without disabilities. However, member of staff I interacted with had Down's syndrome. Now that doesn't mean they have a learning disability, but interaction/ assessment would suggest that is likely. I don't feel it's fair to measure them against these pre-defined standards because they will 'fail' the assessment. So I've put in a whole paragraph about the need to make reasonable adjustments....I hope they listen. I know this wasn't a report written as an health professional (my day job is working with people with LD), but I can't help it! :/
