I wonder if it's to do with the reorganisation of Lodge as well? Not applied for anything on React lately but Ted is still around.

Ted is the only saving grace at React.

Agreed! He was mostly the only person I had ever dealt with- lovely chap. I haven't heard anything from him for quite a while, so I wondered if he had gone.

I only dabble in MS now and then but I must admit ESA/GFK (I miss Meena's booty calls :() have really gone down the pan, as have MSL. GR seem to be following RE/MF these days. I did a cat shop which had 4 enquiries in 1 and the pay was a pittance. I will check the brief carefully before picking visits now! Onwards and upwards as they say. :A:A:A

I'm becoming the same- not through choice, but there's so little work around and even less of it that is worthwhile. I'm thinking of going back to my old career- MSing has become quite boring as well now. Need a bit more spice in my life! lol Just want something that uses my brain a bit more- MSing is becoming quite mind-numbing and I'm fed up of the patronising emails about remembering to do your shop or equally patronising guidelines. Clearly some people are not professional about it- easy to see why with the way rates are dropping and briefs are poorly written.

I have taken a part time job as the low fees have put me off doing a lot of jobs especially when you did them previously at a higher rate!!

Ted is still about he left a msg offering me wrk last wk but I was not around to accept it.

I'm another that's doing less and less. The acting like a fanny/ fees ratio has swung too far on a lot of jobs. I miss GFK's phone shops. They were a good steady one for me.

I've just ditched GFK's latest phone shop, the fee was pathetic, if I used 45p per mile as a guide I would have been out of pocket and doing their visit for what .. Love? :/

I had a phone call from Grassroots as they wanted me to complete a shop in a town about 20 miles away. The cost of the shop would not even cover petrol, and when I said so they proudly said they could up the fee by £2! Yeah - that won't make me take a job which I will spend well over an hour including commute to only maybe just break even. The job hung around for a while after that.

I don't blame you - I can't see how 'peeps' do this FT, unless they are mixing it with regular audits and merchandising work.

I decided to 'jack' most MF work and RA work this year as the rates were not worth the effort and do mainly local work rather than doing circuits and do the one off higher paid jobs.

There seems to be loads of job on the board and I am sure 'peeps' would have applied for them but yet to be allocated. I applied for some last week and yet to be advised either way. Wish they would do more self assign as very hit and miss on whether you get allocated or not. I just do very local jobs now for them as it never seems to work including them in a circuit as allocations are very random, even with high average scores.

I love doing their amusement/days out during the holidays. A great day out with the kids saving me a fortune. Just happened to snap one up for the summer. I'm happy. :T

I admire you mysterious girl. I found the amusement park visits quite onerous when I did a couple earlier in the year. There was so much to report on I struggled to enjoy myself. I have to agree though that the kids loved it and I was amazed at how much some places charge at full price, easily into three figures for a family and that is just to get in.
