I don't see why people don't love doing the bookie jobs. Easy reports normally and there just hundreds of them almost all the time.
People don't do them as the pay rate is around a quarter of what it used to be in the past and unless the brief has changed screams of being an MS. These are fine if you are tripping over the door step but not ones to go out your way for IMHO.0 -
I used to do the bookies but only when the briefs were straight bets, then they made the briefs silly and cut the pay. So more looking like an idiot for less money, what's not to dislike?
Ref Abai I can only access with Chrome. I've had the javascript message but refreshed the page and then been able to log in.0 -
Just to wish Happy Shoppering to anyone who's picked up my calls while I've been going a bit Jacobs. Approaching being back in action, so hoping for a good August :-)Another note to check your payments from JKS- they had only paid me for 1/2 of the jobs I had completed in April for them. Had to be pointed out to them, before they checked and coughed up.
I tend to cc the project managers in a bit on my emails to Barry. I get the feeling he's a nice enough bloke, but needs a prod from the others now and then.Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?0 -

Thanks MysteryMe; I tried using Chrome and have repeatedly refreshed but still going nowhere with Abai the website won't let me!
I have now also registered with Gapbuster and completed the orientation and all the client certifications for them- which was a bit long winded but hoping it will be worth it!
In the meantime I already have 6 more active assignments for over the next week with MF which I'm finding good for dipping my toe in the water!0 -
The important thing with the GAP fast food is the timings. I use a voice recorder instead of trying to use a stop watch facility and take the timings from the recording.
You could also try Grass Roots, very fast fingers first but assignments are OK and Performance In People which are self assign but they like good narratives.0 -
Thank you Mysteryme I will try those. Its a bit hit and miss who to register with as have had quite a few available through MF but want a bit more lol- I suppose its also down to availability of assignments in the area too. Thank you I will try those0

Anyone doing the IMS food shop surveys? Did you get the app or website to work?0
-
Sorry can't help - don't do anything for IMS.
But, some feedback for those who might be interested.
I've settled on £6 per package for the extra send back work. (& without kicking up too much of a fuss.) Not big bucks, but better than a poke in the eye.
Big thanks to those (both lurkios and posters) who p.m’d me useful info and encouraging messages. Much appreciated.arghhh!!!0 -

Website was working, but they haven't put all the visits onto it, so they won't get their feedback by midnight.
A dream doesn't become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work0 -

As you sign up to more and more companies you will find assignments that will pay better, MF are pretty low for most assignments.0
