    Flooded downstairs flat today!
Stupid hose thing on the kitchen tap and watered the veg, when I went back to the kitchen no.1 son told me he'd turned it off when neighbour had told him water was pouring down the wall (why didn't he just come out and tell me?).
Mopped up and sat down to tea before work when landlords man came round to check it out - grrrrrrrrrrrr.
    At least i'd hoovered.

My brother went into the 02 shop and asked for a blueberry they sent him to Morrisons.

He was having his eyes tested the optician asked him what did he do for work my brother's response "I work in a call centre. What do you do?"

Reminds me of working at a high school as a (full-time) TA -One of the kids asked me what I did for a job .......as I struggled to frame a suitable non sarcastic reply one of the other kids piped up "THIS is her job" to which the first kid looked at me in amazement "You mean you are PAID to be here with us ???"

I've just gone to put my coffee in the microwave as it's gone cold (a regular occurrence) and there is already a cup in there. I must have done the same thing yesterday and forgotten about it..
I did wonder why I couldn't find my favourite cup this morning.

I had been playing a certain game on my PS3 and had racked up 35 hours playtime over the course of about six months.

One drunken night, me and OH decided to play another game but there wasn't enough space on the PS3, so we decided to do a factory reset rather than go through everything deleting individually (rum logic).

Yep, you guessed it, my 35 hour save just before the end boss got wiped off too. I stared blankly at the TV for a good 10 minutes before realisation hit and I can't bring myself to touch the game since.

When we were in Malayasia one Christmas we woke my OHs brother and family at about 7am. I'd worked out the time wrong....I realised as they picked up...to late by then!! Luckily they thought it was quite funny when we told them what we'd done.

I keep thinking of stupid things I've done - there's so many!

I went to collect a takeaway and the guy in the shop had no record of it. Ended up in quite a heated argument with him and I stormed out. Went home in a strop with no food and told OH, who then pointed out that we'd ordered from a completely different place to the one I'd just been to.

I used to work in a small museum. One day we were lucky enough to get two coaches of Chinese tourists.

They asked to go on the first available tour. I told them it was 'all full'

The took this to mean the tour was 'awful' and promptly turned around, boarded their coach and left!!

We lost a lot of money that day but everyone laughed.

I was trying to be money-saving and found an online clearance store - saw some really nice jeans - one size left - 28. I'm not very good with those sizes so googled it - size 10, thought well I'm normally a 10-12 so will buy and see.

Postie came today, opened them up - they are 28X8!! Trying to find the returns policy now!

Wondering if it is a mix up though because I honestly didn't see anything after the 28!

    - Just doubled checked - the size says 28l - I thought that meant 'long', is this my error or is it a mix up?
