    Morning all

Thanks for the get well wishes for DS2, I can say I have never seen somebody be that ill so many times in one night. Am praying I do't get it. I feel decidedly iffy but I think that is the thought of it.

It has turned DHs birthday into even less of an event that it was going to be.

My mother has been winding me up on the phone, now I feel mean for saying I have to go and put the neighbours rabbits out (it was true) but she was going on and on and I hadn't been to bed until 4:30.

Hormones all over the show. Going to potter and do laundry only I think.

  • Good morning :D

We were invited round to NDN last night. DH managed a bottle of red, & even I had 2 glasses of rose!! (I rarely drink!)
We have offered to take them to the airport (local 1, 10 minutes away) to save them getting a taxi. I haven't done much this morning as a result - I have even bunked off my art group :o

I have been checking their announcements - and there is nothing! Thanks for the heads up :) We have a couple of guitars to sell to raise some funds :(

    Today I need to:
    clean out the fridge
    walk the dog
pop over to see my Mum
do at least one more section of my Self Evaluation Form
    take NDN's to airport
    list some stuff on ebay
and do some general tidying stuff!

Get well soon for Dusty's DS2 and not catching it vibes to her x

Airing cupboard emptied thus ironing basket is full again.
    Mr T has delivered
OH has gone to meet a friend to see the football (rare occurrence)
DS2 is doing brickmaster lego then is editing his comic collections
DS1 is about to change his bed (not that he knows this)
    Bathroom done
    House henried
    3xwm done

I may sneak a bit of knitting in.

Thanks Shortbird for the ebay headsup. I got an email at 2:55 this morning; may list some stuff tomorrow. I have an item on for 99p with 281 views and 26 watchers but no bid, very frustrating.

DS2 a little brighter. Feel so sorry for him, he worked all week to get the BBQ area ready to surprise DH on his birthday today and so we could use it at lunchtime and now we can't.

Whole Dusty house feeling very glum.

I managed to drive all the way over to the chalet without remembering to take the clean laundry! Fortunately there are three sets of bedding for all the beds, so one dirty to come away, one clean set on the beds remade by the visitors who departed this morning and, obviously, the set I've still got here at the house - doh!

Two trips to the St Luke's chazza shop on Southside Street every day since filming finished has pretty much restocked their shelves and racks, and cleared out piles and piles of stuff from the house. Good. Now all I've got to do is shove something on Gumtree (too heavy for Ebay).
    Better is good enough.

Dusty you've had a pig of a day - and night - leave things be for tonight and start afresh in the morning. Dr Bumpkins has spoken :p Have a huggle x

Just to clarify..... I don't look at who's thanked EVERY post, I saw dancemum had posted 'checking in for pigpen update - where is everyone?' and I thought, yes, where ARE they, I wonder who IS here, I know, I'll see who's thanked dancemum's post as they will probably be checking in for pigpen update too....

Still a bit sad, I know.

One huge courgette lightly frying in olive oil & garlic, with red & green peppers  DD's having as a side dish to her chicken, while I'm having it as a main dish smothered with cheese - I can't wait!

Nicki if your DD likes peppers (& onions) you could try doing a ratatouille with mainly peppers, and sneak in some strips of courgette, cut to look like the strips of green pepper, cover with cheese and she may not notice. You could tell her they are 'baby summer green peppers' if she does! I used to hide spinach in my kids food telling them it was 'large round-leaved basil'
