bossymoo - glad you're having fun x
pigpen - hope all goes well x
I'm off to Manchester for a few days next week - anyone got any recommendations or know what the public transport system is like?
Hugs for all who want or need one - catch you later x
Tis a very long time since I lived in Manchester - but I always enjoyed the museum of science and industry:-

One of the last things we did with my dad was a day there - he got to ride on a steam engine he was so chuffed!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
After demolishing the cabin bed today I had a bit of a sitdown. This was interrupted by a yell from upstairs. DD2 was searching for some of her dresses and had opened my wardrobe, at which time the hanging rail had come down and the shelf had fallen on top of her! So I have reinforced the join between the side and the back of the wardrobe and put the shelf back in. Sadly I cannot find the bit that holds the hanging rail up. If I cannot find it tonight then it's a trip to B&Q in the morning....
DD1 is having a blast in London! Fingers crossed that she survives the next couple of days.....:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Really long 13 hour day at Thorpe Park. Rather tired now but DS3 had a great time. I was a bit anxious of going on my own with them so quite pleased with myself. Shame AF decided to come along on totally not her week, explains my mood of the last few days though. Defo heading for the Big M I think. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

Fridge cleaned out
Laundry done
Meadowhall trip cancelled and went in to local city instead.
School shoes bought although DS2 had an enormous meltdown in the shop as we found out later that the shoes with toys in were too wide for him.
Good luck Piggers x0 -
Hi all
pigpen hope all goes well or has gone well if new arrival has arrived
dancemum hugs to you, sounds like a stressful day
Gone home from work, completely out of spoons so had tea and then went a decluttered 2 hours sleep.
Garden has been watered, it did rain this morning but we've had a hot and windy day so the pots have dried out.
WM on & kitchen S&S before bed.
Oh and I've discovered candy crush saga - I feel flying maybe taking a back seat!

Been working all week, so have just (sort of) kept up with the dailies. Going to tackle upstairs this morning, garden this afternoon, downstairs tomorrow and also computer/paperwork tomorrow. Phew I'm exhausted already!!!! Just decluttering digibox before turning on some loud music.
Good weekend to all - hopefully more relaxing than mine!!!:rotfl:0 -
Morning all
I am off to Wales at 10am to spend the weekend with my best friend, I am SO excited, I moved away from her six months ago and I miss her so, so much.
Before I go, I need to:
Empty bins
Wash up
Strip our bed, wash and hang to dry
S&S bathroom and kitchen
Sweep kitchen floor
Tidy the last few stragglers lying around so I'm coming home to a nice tidy house on Sunday
OH is having his stag weekend in London. He's going with his Dad, brother, BIL and DSS so I'm not too concerned he'll end up gaffa taped to a lamppost at Kings Cross station sans his undercrackers :rotfl:
Have a great weekend, all xx0 -
Up and showered. Will peg the washing out and stick another load in before I leave for work at 9.30. OH has been asked to take DS to football this morning and then clear out the drains and gutters whilst I'm out. I predict only 1 of the 3 tasks will be done when I return after 3pm.:(
Just enough time for a quick cuppa before I leave .........
I wonder if Piggers has a pink or a blue one this time? I feel all expectant :rotfl:
I agree about Manchester's Museum of Science and Industry being great. Plus, there was talk earlier in the year about it closing down as they reckon it isn't viable. It would be such a shame for the City and they need all our support.
Catch you all later - have a lovely weekend.Decluttering junk and debt in 2016
