  • There would appear to be a problem with the £11 Tmobile offer that ends up as £4.88. When I visit the TCB site via the link there is no way to click on the £11 tariff offer to proceed. Any ideas ?

  • Be careful signing up to a 4G sim free deal thinking you are getting something great, when your phone isn't 4G compatible; so a waste of money! Make sure you check first that your phone is 4G, if not, just get a 3G sim. I went with T-mobile in the end - much better 3G service than with Vodafone. Happy customer :-)

Thank you very much - my wife and I are approaching the end of our 2 year contracts with TM and are quite content with the Samsung Galaxy S2 phones we're still using.

Spotted the £11/month sim only package, just the job, did a live chat to ensure that we would be able to transfer our numbers (via Customer Services) so we signed up today. We've signed up one month early to try and grab the £73 cashback deal with TCB.

Both gone through okay, yet to see them register on the TCB site. How long do they normally take on TCB (usually use Quidco mostly).

Usually it takes within 24 hours for it track. If you find it hasn't tracked then raise a ticket with TCB and you should be able to get it register.
  • Good evening - help required please.

Hubby and I have just signed up online to 2 different sim-only deals (he with Three and myself with Virgin). We have sorted out the DD and had successful credit checks - the sims are on their way.

Hubby just received a call from his current provider (T-Mobile) offering him a better deal - not by much granted - but he is wondering whether his contract with Three has now 'started' or whether it begins the day he inserts the sim card?

I think that there is a 14-day cancellation period and we were wondering when that actually began essentially.

    Hope that makes sense!!

He can return it within 14 days provided it hasn't been used. (So as he hasn't received it then this would apply).

Cos I'm a new user I'm not allowed to quote. I am responding to a post a little way back: the Peoples Operator: £15/month: The fair use policy was 3000 mins; 3000 texts; 3gb a couple of weeks ago when I looke, not 3000 mins/texts as quoted.

I have found that Virgin offers 5000 of each for £15/month sim only, so I have gone for that. It inplies you need to have virgin home stuff, but you don't.
  • Anyone had any problems with the Amazon/EE £11 per month deal?

How long does the confirmation email take? I'd rather have some insurance the deal's legit before I signup for the contract with EE.
    Thanks.
  • Hi, I am thinking of changing from PAYG to a sim only deal. Are the deals at the start of this thread still current? A friend of mine has just gone over to the Orange one for £8 a month but says that calling your answerphone is not included in the deal (so you have to pay extra for that). Is this the same with all of them? The GiffGaff one looks good (£7.50) but just wanted to check out about the answerphone thing. Also, what does 1m mean here? A contract for just one month - it can't be! Thanks for any advice.

If you view the deals page then along the top there is a date when it was last updated (currently 23/12/2013).
You would need to check the details of each offer for what is included.
In the details for each operators offers you will see a colum that says "Months" look at the number, if it says 12 then it is for a 12 month contract, if it says 1 then yes it is for a 1 month contract ( that is currently all giffgaff do ) this means you are free to leave after any month with no penalty.
If you are thinking of £7.50 giffgaff it may be worth considering Ovivo were you pay £20 one off & that gives you 200 mins 300 texts & 500 mb data each month with NO extra charges ever unless you go over these limits, the down side is your internet browsing gets interupted by adverts which is how they pay for the service. Ovivo runs on Vodafone network so make sure you get a signal first .

    Hope that helps
