I've seen this on the Scan website and it seems a bit ambiguous to me. Just want to add a big thanks for this spreadsheet. Not only has it brought to my attention Ovivo, which is going to be ideal for all the elderly members of the family (you know who you are) lol. Their Freedom 0 tariff with a one off £20 payment but free monthly allowance will be perfect for people with occasional use. I was tempted myself but rang Virgin Mobile quoting the ovivo deal, and they doubled my sim only data and reduced my cost to £5/month. Having the spreadsheet available definitely put me in a good position to negotiate with their retentions staff.

Our intrusive are the adverts when browsing the web?

If you use apps like Facebook and Twitter does the adverts appear there?

Also how often are advertising text messages sent?

Not intrusive IMO and I have never received any texts.

Ovivo is exactly what it says on the tin.
I'd say the adverts aren't that intrusive and are only when you're browsing. They do not appear in any apps like Facebook and Twitter. No text adverts, just ones that are sent by email.

Tbh i'm very impressed with Ovivo's free allowances. And this deal is for people who are light users and will use less than those free allowances. Only complaint i have is data speeds can be very slow as Ovivo are given a lower priority that Vodafone subscribers. Don't expect to be able to stream full HD videos or anything like that. And if you want to do that then Ovivo is by far the wrong network.
