I have no idea mate.
Second time they've done it.
First time they had a reason. This time they don't have a reason. I'm trying to get it back.
IMO (and based on emails back and forth) it seems HUKD aren't happy that the deal is on an external spreadsheet as it means that they don't make money from affiliate links. So they're trying to find ways to get it off their site.
That's utterly ridiculous.
Hopefully you can find a way to incorporate the spreadsheet on the forum, but I don't know if that is possible.
I noticed the SS has been updated on the 8th. Does the £7.88 Voda deal still remain the best deal currently in your opinion.
Keep up the great work! :money:0 -

It is ridiculous. Basically what happened last time (last month) is i posted an affiliate link on the spreadsheet (and clearly marked it as an affiliate link with the choice to use a non affiliate link right next to it) and HUKD removed the threads and would only return it if i removed the affiliate link and posted the deals on the HUKD website (so they become HUKD affiliate links). Managed to get it back with the spreadsheet and everything as it's much easier to update myself and for users to read.
This time they deleted it for no reason. I have no affiliate links on the spreadsheet as i removed them all when they asked me to. So no idea why i've been banned and the thread deleted. They still haven't got back to me about that. It seems they're just not happy with it for some reason.
But yeh, the Voda deal is still the best with cashback. £21pm standard is a bit too high though so not the best deal ever, but when cashback pays out it's a very good deal. Remember to check signal and make sure the allowances are enough for you. Three and T-Mobile have some good deals as well.0 -

It's a great pity when you have clarly put so much time and effort to consolidate all the deals out there into a very ease to read post.
The Voda deal is actually for a friend so I am sure she'll be happy with that.
I sadly need to stick to T-Mobile on a Blackberry 7 device as I travel very often, and it would appear that only that combination would work as they do unlimited worldwide data for £4/day, max £48/mth in EU (and don't cut you off). T-M sadly won't match cashback and don't reward 6 yrs of loyalty so I need to go through the ballache of asking for my PAC, porting to another PAYG and coming back as a new customer, unless you know of another combination? Apparently BlackBerry 10 devices run almost like Androids, and do not require Blackberry Internet Services to run and therefore are not included in the worldwide roaming deal.0 -
Thanks, Still haven't had a reply from HUKD about it.
Unfortunately that's the only way to do it I think. And I agree pac'ing out then back in is such a long way to do things. But in the end it does save money. Especially with the blackberry thing you have.0 -

They replied back but not sure if you got informed.Hi Ahm.., our moderators removed the thread again following reports that you had reedited the original spreadsheet on October 1st and October 7th, and affiliate links had been readded.
Having checked the edit logs, it does seem an affiliate link was added back into the spreadsheet last week, there may be a totally reasonable explanation for how that's happened, drop me a PM if you want to chat about it.

Nope. Never added in any affiliate links in October . In fact I state on the top right of the spreadsheet that affiliate links aren't used at all.0 -

Not sure what you want to do about it. Maybe ask for evidence of you making such modification..
Message the admin to state you haven't added any in at all. I won't blame you if you can't be bothered sorting it out on UKHD.
Btw will you still be updating the spreadsheet?0 -

Yup, still updating it.
I've had a look at the edit logs myself and there were two updates on October 1st.
They were updates to pricing and a bit about 4G tariffs. NO links were changed or edited or made into affiliate links.
On October 7th i edited links for Quidco and TCB for O2 deals. (But they are not affiliate links) and i edited in the new talk talk deal. (Again no affiliate deals).
I'm fairly sure HUKD have just made it up tbh...0 -
I'm hoping someone can help me with this one to save me trawling through old post (I'm an energy saver too. OK, I'm a lazy B*gger
).
After being messed around left right and centre by TMobile when I tried to upgrade/renew my contract, I switched to O2, and have discovered that I have no coverage either where I work or at home. This is despite their coverage indicator showing good signal. I guess I'm just outside the envelope in both places as 200 yards from home and work it's perfect !!!!
So now I have what is basically a very expensive lump of metal and plastic that takes photos and plays music. I have tried TuGo, which enables me to use my minutes through a WiFi network, but guess what, it's rubbish at work. As many of my customers call me on my mobile, it's very inconvenient, especially as with no signal, voicemails take forever to come through.
So I thought I would get a free sim to put in an old dumbphone that I have and give out this number for incoming calls only. I don't mind forking out £10 to activate a sim, but they all seem to want to give me free minutes/texts/internet that I don't need. Is there one that I can use and not have to keep topping up every month ?
Research tells me that GG is O2, as is Tesco, so they're out.
TIA.
Edit.BTW I'm not a business user, it's just that I run (not my own) shop and some customers prefer to call me on my mobile as it means I don't have to be tied to the landline. Also I have an unlocked Sony Erricson phone that is only really half dumb as it has internet access, albeit practically useless, so modern sims will work in it. I'm currently using a dead tesco sim as all it needs to work at all is any sim. I know it works as a phone because I had to put my T Mobile sim in it when I dropped my smart phone in the pond. But we won't go in to that-

Three and Asda PAYG don't force you to top up every 30 days. They offer bundles / add-ons as options not forced on users.
Nearly every network will delete the number if you don't make any chargeable use of it (sending a text is probably the minimum), so I'd suggest doing something on the first of each month (eg a text to your O2 mobile).
Three PAYG charges 3p/2p/1p for voice (per minute), text, and data (1 MB) respectively, but doesn't expire. They will send 2 free SIMs just from online web form request. Top-ups start at £10. However Three needs a 3G mobile, so an old dumb phone may not be compatible.
Asda is more expensive (buy £5 top up voucher at a checkout and the SIM pack is free). 8p/minute, 4p/text, 5p/MB. Be aware they are changing from Vodafone to EE, so they took all the old SIM packs off the shelves a while ago - I don't know if they have new ones on shelves yet.
You might be able to get one free via the web from asdamobile .com, or an existing user might flog one on Ebay... Asda are offering existing Asda mobile {Vodafone} users a 'freebie' bundle {100 minutes, 2000 texts and 100MB of data} from late November if they ask for a replacement SIM to go onto EE. If you see any on Ebay, I would check by asking a seller if the SIM will work in a Vodafone mobile. If they say it needs to be on EE/Orange/T-Mobile then it must be a new Asda SIM.0
