do we need to give vod notice as we are now out of the 24 nth term?
You will need to give Vodafone 30 days notice when you plan to leave them.
If you want to keep your number then just request your PAC from Vodafone. Using the PAC will cancel your contract.0 -

I wonder if anyone here can help clear this up? I am after a SIM only for my Nexus 5 when it arrives and plan to move to EE from Vodafone.
I've seen this on the Scan website and it seems a bit ambiguous to me. Would I be allowed to buy this deal for myself - it says designed for sole traders etc. but it doesn't really say that it's limited only? The closest tarriff on EE's website for personal customers is 5GB for £36 per month which is very steep compared to this at £17.50 a month (before the discount every 4 months throughout the term!).
Anybody know if I'd be able to get this for myself or should I keep on looking?0 -
This is a post that contains the hottest sim only deals right now. It also contains a link to a spreadsheet with a full list of every networks best sim only deals with cashback rates updated every week.
CLICK HERE TO VIEW ALL DEALS
The spreadsheet can be bookmarked and viewed from any device at any time.
The spreadsheet uses large graphics as headings for each network, such as 3 Three Sim Deals!, which show fine on PCs, but don't show on my smartphone (an S4 clone).
Consequently, it is not easy to tell which network each section of deals applies to.
Can I suggest you add the network name to the Network Notes to the right of each section, eg 3 Network Notes, O2 Network Notes, etc.
This would be a great help to me, and anyone else whose phone has this issue.
Thanks.0 -
Just call the CS and ask to send the text?
Or do it manually?: Tesco mobile APN settings0 -

Have a look at Ovivo which gives a free allowance to use every month. It's probably the best option. Just a £20 one off cost.I wonder if anyone here can help clear this up? I am after a SIM only for my Nexus 5 when it arrives and plan to move to EE from Vodafone.

Best thing to do is ask them. I'm not sure myself.Well done on keeping this useful thread going, ZhugeEX.

Ah right. The spreadsheet was designed with PC's in mind and tbh i haven't really tested it on a mobile device. Is it that the pictures are too big or that they're not loading at all?
I've changed the network notes section to show the name of the network to the right of the deals.

Thank YOU. Awesome service!
The pictures don't load at all, and I've tried giving them plenty of time to download.
I further confirmed that the issue is also on the Android Jelly Bean stock browser, so it's not caused by my normal Opera Mini browser, which uses data compression to save bandwidth.0 -

No worries.
I've tried it on my phone and it seems to be a limitation of Google docs on smartphones. I'm going to add in text under the pictures so that if you can't see the pictures with the network name you'll see the standard text underneath.
I'll do this as soon as i get time.
Like i said, the spreadsheet was designed for PC's with 720p/1080p screens in mind. Hopefully the new version will be more mobile friendly.0 -
I've just come out of sim only plan, I'm so confused... HELP0

Big thank you to ZhugeEX for the spreadsheet. I've more or less made my decision but the spreadsheet really made it easier.
Now for the question - I'm looking to buy a Sim only contract deal with Three (The One Plan with unlimited data and tethering) but it will be a Christmas pressie so I don't want it to start till Xmas Day.
Is this do'able? Or am I to early?
I've asked online at the Three website and had conflicting answers.
Has anyone else bought a Sim for someone as a gift and had the start date postponed?0
