Unlimited mins.texs.data (3G) for 20.32 a month
I had a look on there website and see they doing 5000 mins.unlimited texts and 20Gb of 4G data for 15 quid....a tenner off normal rates.
I phoned and ask about this and as a existing customer I am not allowed the discount and the price for me would be 25 pounds.
So I asked for my PAC and got told I would need to pay 104 to exit my phone contract....I'm thinking they thought I wouldn't do this.
So I agreed to pay that, and that brought about a change of attitude from Virgin, got the deal of 5000 mins.unlimited texts and 20Gb of data for the agreed 15 pounds and then another 3 quid off per month.
Ok, I gotta wait for a new sim and the new allowance doesn't start until the 9th January..
But happy with that
Excellant, well done for sticking to your guns!!Trinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0 -
Best I have been offered is £9/month for 1k mins unlimited texts and 3gb data- said I would think about it so didn't request my PAC but think I will phone back and request it and see if that has any impact.
Update: just phoned back and got £10.80 a month for unlimited texts and minutes and 4gb of data plus roaming- I know I could have tried for a wee bit more but happy with that
Yet another success story, well done!!Trinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0 -

Hi, just wondering if anyone has gotten three to pricematch recently? Virgin are doing 20gb data, 5000 mins for £15. So kind of hoping Three might match that?0

Why don't you ask Three? Then you may get the right answer rather than the one you hope for.0

My current SIM only plan is:
TalkTalk
2500 minutes
unlimited text messages
2.7GB
Great price at £6.50 a month
My contract is up for renewal next month, so I am negotiating with the loyalty team on a good offer.
In my first call yesterday with TalkTalk Loyalty, I was only offered:
700 minutes
unlimited text
2.1 GB (3G)
Total: £7.75 a month
Not a good deal, and dispite the agent raing a complaint to a customer service manager, which has now gone to the CEO office, i did feel deflated, as i really I want to remain with TalkTalk
I went onto Moneysavingexpert.com this morning, and found the following:
Three
Unlimited Minutes
Unlimited text messages
4GB data (4G)
Total: £10.00 a month for 12 months
Plusnet
2000 minutes
Unlimited Text messages
2GB data (4G)
Total: £7:50 month for 12 months
I called taltalk this morning, explained i had found these great offers. After talking to a customer service manager, and loyalty, i have been offered:
2000 minutes
unlimited text messages
2.1 GB data (3G)
£7.75 a month.
I explained to loyalty, I was pleased the minutes had been doubled, but i needed more minutes. I was then offered the following:
Extra Large package:
3000 minutes
unlimited text messages
4GB data (3G) I think!!
£15.00 a month
The price of the last package is not good.
I understand a customer service manager is going to call me today, and i should hear back from the CEO office on tuesday. I am making slow progress, and hope I get a resolution soon, I dont want to leave TalkTalk mobile, so fingers cross.

Hello Raving,
Three currently has a deal via moneysavingexpert:
Sim only package
Unlimited Minutes
Unlimited text messages
4GB data (4G)
Total: £10.00 a month for 12 months
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/phones/cheap-sim-only-contracts#midpick2
Moneysavingexpert says the offer is only available until 31st January (tuesday), I hope this is helpfulTrinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0 -
I just received a call from a customer service manager og TalkTalk asking me if i was happy with the offers provided by the loyalty team. I informed him no, and that I was hoping for better news from the CEO office. I was informed by the Manager, I would receive the same answer as the loyalty team. I then informed the manager, iI either needed a further 500 minutes to be offered at the 2000 minutes price, or a further £5.00 a month reduction in the 3000 minute plan. If neither of these materialize, i would no other option, but to change to the three network, and request a PUK code, which is such a shame as I quite like being a customer of talktalk.Trinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0

Not sure where you conclude a doubling of your minutes. If the existing package is the best deal and you can leave with 2000 minutes and 2.7GB for £6.50 why "upgrade" at all?? Your contract is not "due for renewal"; the minimum term simply comes to and end but the contract will carry on with its existing bundle and cost - and giving you the option to cancel at 30 days' notice rather than being locked into another minimum term contract.0
