Well I have just rung and I'm no longer in debt with Evans. YIPPEE xx. I am in credit with them by £1.32.
2 debts down one to go. Wish the next one was going to be so easy to deal with, however one day at a time. The debt has dropped into the 7s so my next aim is for me to see a 6 at the front. Based on the minimum payment that should be in July 2014. Going to aim for April 2014 xxSave £12k in 2014 #080 £0/£8,000.

Had a very chilled weekend. Went over to my parents this morning had a lovely couple of hours with them.
There is a lidl opposite them so popped there for a few bits. Total if £7.88 spent including cat treats and a couple of things for my mum.
£50 to my pad loan account this morning, I'm very pleased that I can now just focus on my loan.
I can happily accommodate paying the loan monthly but really want to clear it ASAP. Dfw is now firmly in my brain.
I am also aware that a lot of people are fairly negative towards consolidation loans. So I am very aware how easy it is to start using the old credit cards again and end up with multiple debts and be in a worse situation. Very determined not to fall in to that trap.
This week I am still on leave so not sure how the spending will go, I have enough money left to treat myself if I want but going to aim for a fairly low spend week.

It's fab, feel so much better now, knowing I am only focusing on one debt.
Not a quick one to get rid of but determined to do it, whilst saving for an emergency fund and not building any other debts.
Knowing I'm not alone on here makes its so much easier xxSave £12k in 2014 #080 £0/£8,000.

Hope your week of leave has started well, it's nice weather again so that's a good start!
You're doing fabulously on your loan over payments and I just know you will feel great when you see the overall total coming down. Have you checked with your bank that the over payments will reduce your interest charges?
Hope you have a lovely sunshiney week

Had a nice day, out and about this morning. Got some glasses - half price from sainsburys for a set of 4 for the grand price of £3. Previously I would have gone to John lewis or similar and probably spent £8 each ish for every day glasses but absolutely nothing wrong with the set for £3.
I hadn't even thought how the overpayment on the loan works -interest wise.
I have rung lloyds and the interest is calculated daily and added on to the balance monthly. It is therefore in my interest to pay it off as quickly as possible as I would ecrue less interest. If my brain is working right I think I would be better off paying it weekly however not sure whether I can calculate exactly how much I can overpay as it will depend on my PADing - with the exception of what I would have paid to my store card ... Thinking cap needs to be on !!!!
Any thoughts??Save £12k in 2014 #080 £0/£8,000.
