Right I'm going on there right now! I wonder if being frugal is an illness or an addiction, I'm so enjoying this. How sad0

You're not alone so I prefer an 'addiction' to illness! Well it's been quite a good day.
I did purchase an extravagant birthday present for my BIL who will soon be 65. I agreed to go halves on the present well before my lbm so felt compelled to stick with my promise. So £40 gone on half a bottle of Irish whiskey.
I have been in York all day ( for work), cost was travel and lunch, can claim them both back (Mondays priority). Once I got home I've done a tesco shop for delivery on Monday evening. Will have a few more days of mish mash eating. It has covered extra shopping for my sisters visit and still came in under £30, including delivery.
Monies all transferred into correct accounts, standing orders all sorted and everything in its place for next month.
Today's payments are £20 to emergency spending and £2.35 to loan account.Save £12k in 2014 #080 £0/£8,000.

Well £40 to the store card this morning. It's only £10 more than my original payments and as I would previously have had a similar next payment potentially I have another £20 to add to the pot. I want to obtain my store card statement (due end of next week) and then hopefully I might be able to squeeze enough out of my budget to pay it off totally.
However I know from Tuesday onwards for a week by budget is going to be stretched. I think I'm going to tell my sister that I'm being careful money wise and can we therefore do cheap and cheerful on some occasions as I really don't want to blow the budget or put stuff on a credit card. I'm not at the stage of telling her the true full facts but happy to tell her I have some debt and want to clear it as soon as possible.
Got the other half of the whiskey money this morning so £40 in my purse. I don't have an issue with it really being in my purse as my spending diary keeps me firmly focused.
Purchased a few bits and bobs today but only about £5 spent.
Going to total everything up again and update spreadsheets xxSave £12k in 2014 #080 £0/£8,000.
