I think I'm going back the way, I'm in my mid? earlyish? twenties and in my late teens, I always wore tea dresses, tights and either mary janes or flat pumps with a little cardie or wool coat. Now it's all about the boyfriend fit jeans, tshirt and converse. I have a child now though and if it looks clean I wear it :D I don't really bother with my appearance much although I probably should.

It isn't intended in a mean way.

You should dress to flatter yourself not to try and pretend you are something you no longer are.

    Well, I've never been a lamb. ;)

At what age does a delightful tender lamb become chewy horrid old mutton anyway?

Its just another way of making sure we women know someone will always be judging us for the way we look.

Leggings are horrible sweaty things. I'd rather chew my knees than wear them.

Leggings are the most versatile comfiest things to wear ever! But I guess they're like Marmite, you love them or you hate them?!

I suspect a lot of us were never "lambs" in the magazine sense of the word. I certainly wasn't either.

I am not sure age is really the be all and end all, it is when it looks a little too "try hard".

To be brutally honest plenty of women judge men on the way they look.
It isn't exactly a one way street.

Edit: btw mutton can be incredibly tender, it just needs to be heated up a little slower ;)

I'm sure some do, but I've no idea what that's got to do with this conversation!

    This is a lamb, btw:

Its not a look I've ever wanted to recreate myself!

My style has definitely got much more casual as the years have gone on but I think thats because Im a bit of a lazy mare and cant be bothered making an effort unless Im out for the evening.

That's me down to a tee that is! I'm all about comfort, I always have been really, but probably even more so nowadays, and I think it's because I'm abit of a lazy mare sometimes too! :rotfl:

I wouldn't say my style has really changed that much over the years, as I've never really been into dresses and heels, I'd just say its evolved slightly, even more so into track pants, hoodies and leggings!

It was in response to something you said about men judging women, nothing more nothing less.
I'm happy to leave it at that.

I think the lambs ears would really bring out your eyes btw :D

I thought it was a T shirt with "ribs" that gave a corset or nipped in waist effect.

    OP, explain please?! :p

I think women probably judge other women more than men, but not just in the clothes sphere in every sphere. Such is life, men judge other men too. It is human nature.

I think you need to read back, I never mentioned men at all...
