I remember having sixpence given to me so I could buy a bar after I'd been swimming. I don't remember how many times I went swimming, but I do remember the machine... could even have been just 1-6x that we went.
I remember similar. My sixpence always went into a drinks machine that would produce a small plastic cup with a choice of fizzy drinks.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. White chocolate -on occasion. Bought some when it was half price in Lidl a couple of weeks ago. Prefer dark chocolate. I only tend to eat chocolate one day a month, the rest of the time I would rather have crisps or cheese or marmite on toast/ crumpet etc.
Its amazing the difference it can make in tha one day though.
Also. Bog standard cadbury's dairy milk or similar BRITISH vegelatechocolate is one of the best tips ever given to me by a GP, when I was much younger. Its the best temporary relief from a sore throat going, best bar none, but very temporary. So you have to graze on it.
. But if you hAVE to use your voice or need help struggling through a sore throat its a great tip. Just some temporary relief is a boon.

Please do tell...Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

White chocolate - Yuck!
Milk chocolate - on occasions
Dark and plain chocolate - YummyWe made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
White chocolate: no
Milk chocolate: occasionally
Dark chocolate: yummy
Hmm, I'd say yes gladly to something special to any if the special of any of the three I think were the setting right, the quality good, but a low sugar high cocoa milk would be my first choice. it used to be dark before i found this less virtuous little brother. though. But I am not the worlds biggest chocolate fan. I'd prefer a stuffed prune d'agen to all three:o.0 -
White chocolate: never
Milk chocolate: quite nice
Dark chocolate: lovely, as long as it has a smooth rather than grainy texture.
I love chocolate, eat loads of it, but my favourite desserts are things that have more of a hit, like a caffe affogato, which IIRC is one of fir's favourites too. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
