So, next thing. I hate photobucket, don't want to use my Flickr account. Any recommendations for taking photos and getting them online immediately for posting in places?0

I've no idea how much 1GB is ..... bet I chew it up quickly, although I can just save photos to the phone until I get home most days. I won't need to be tweeting everything real-time ....
Loads if you don't watch or load video. Do you have wifi in your flat? If so then I would think 500MB would be plenty.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. We do not want to spend that much either, and were pleased by the possible discounted price at this place, only we have not heard back from them. It is a long way to go shopping and we do want to see the table before we buy.
The bigger cost issue is that the cost of chairs mounts up and we have not found any chairs we like . We are considering not buying chairs and just moving the kitchen chairs about when needed.
We are not after heirloom furniture just comfortable stuff we like and that is lighter to look at. Our previous table was mahogany edwardian and we had arts and crafts chairs. Pretty but very dark and a bit gothic looking here. It did look very christmassy though...which is why we rekindled our interest in dining tables this weekend.0 -
Aaargh! I've been reading PN's stuff about her new phone and it's absolutely maddening. There's so little competition over here that you simply can't game the system because nobody competes.
If you mention to an Aussie that you're jumping through any hoops at all to get a bargain they look at you like you're certifiable. If you get money off from your regular shop it's ok. If you go round the corner to get a deal you're Unaustralian. It does my head in about living here.0 -

Don't rule out photo bucket necessarily......the app is very, very easy to use. That's why I use it. Much easier than how it was with a computer. There is an upload from my photos on macputer option or a quick upload from a snap direct into photo bucket.0 -
And while I've got the hump, why is there Xmas music everywhere? It's 30C outside and I've got a sunburned ear.0

Its advents now, so its allowed.
Poor your ear.
We have a new commuting cyclist on our road who comes past at about 7 :15 when its still dark, and wears all dark stuff ( black and dark blue,I only know its blue because I shone my torch o. Him when dog dog ran towards him in the gloom) and only has one puny light. I feel like lying in wait with glow in the dark silly string. At about the same time a milk lorry uses this road. At some point he's probably joining a busier road with more traffic. Why the resistance to being seen?0 -

My ear's fine. The point is that it's not normal to have sunburn while listening to Xmas music.
As for your cyclist friend? Darwin in action. Ask him if his family want flowers or a donation to charity.0
