    What comet? Where?

Sorry, I've been in a world with about 200 people this week, and haven't had time to follow the news!

    CK
Comet Ison - billed to be the biggest thing for ages.... probably the biggest/best most would see in their lifetime.

It was hanging around on the edge of the solar system for about the last 4billion years, then knocked .... so it started arriving, but had to go round the sun and they feared it'd be eaten up ... and it seems to have been.

    Thanks Pastures!

I will be up to date with the news next week, but it's 2.40am, I'm doing dress alterations (nothing too serious), and we've got 2 rehersals tomorrow.

I'm going to be crackered

Do you get your expenses paid, or just the brief fee?

Just my brief fee, but it's a lot higher than it would be for the same case in London, to account for expenses and travelling time.

I need a vacuum. Mine broke 2-3 months ago; it wasn't old, it was a cheapo one we got from Mr S for mum.... and when I was doing the clearing on completion day I was still using it as a vacuum's about the last thing you stop using in a house .... so I've still got it. But one day I turned it on and there was a hullabaloo from the rear end and it looked like it was flashing/sparking. So not used it since.

Really should get another.... although I take my shoes off at the door, rub the carpet down by hand and don't drop stuff, so it's not like a hovel in here... it has probably got to the stage many people's houses reach by lunchtime.

Not wanting to spend more than £20-30... none have ever come up on freecycle.

Does it come with a suitably naked man to operate it? I heard that was an integral part of the product?

Sorry to hear your news Gen. Is it the sort of job that comes up periodically? I hope that you have another opportunity soon.

I won't mention the c word in Alice, I don't want you to be triple gutted by the end of the day. Hopefully the weekend will be better.

Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Well there's 6 of them in the team plus the boss. I'd expect at least one or two to leave each year as it is something of a stepping stone job.

I was told via email which is pretty bloody annoying as I know the bloke quite well. It's a bit cowardly really. Still it was quite a nice email.

I'm actually a bit more gutted than I thought I'd be TBH. Oh well. I got a group hug off my daughter and her toy kitten so that's everything alright :)
