I would take whatever wish it was in the intended way even if not in my particular faith, to wish me well.
In shorter words, it wouldn't bother me in the slightest. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

And you have retained your sense of humour about it.:T:T:T
I hadn't on Tuesday night!
I was sobbing like a child and feeling mightily embarrassed, horrified at not having any front teeth...I even cried on the phone to the dental lab.
Mum gave me a fan from her travels to help save my blushes when we were round there on Tuesday night, within minutes, everyone was talking behind fans (well, after everyone had sung "All I want for Christmas are my two front teeth) and my sense of humour was restored! We made it! I suspect that it's been done using a rather loose definition of "invade" that includes "be part of an alliance liberating it from an occupying enemy power". Then you can class the Allies kicking the Germans out of Norway in WWII as "Britain invading Norway". I'm not sure most of the Norwegians perceived it that way at the time, though.
I agree. I'm sure that I'd know if we'd invaded Russia. (History shows that that is an even worse idea than invading Afghanistan.)No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

(Bit early, but hey ho, had to say something better than...'have a good one' to such a sincerely kind thing to say)
Now, this is the second time this week a similar 'godly' message has been offered to me, and personally, I rather like it. Its kind, well meant and no skin off my nose, even if i am not of their faith (which i presumed to be Christian) But it does It occurs to me that the customer services people risk both abuse to themselves ( or complaints) and offence to others.
am struggling to empathise with those who take offence at such a well meant thing to say, and I think if I can get opinions on 'the other side of the argument' to help me appreciate the other pov anywhere it would be amongst nice people.
I'm an atheist and I would take it in the spirit it was meant with the person on the phone, though I actually wouldn't like it because it puts me in the position of, to be polite, acknowledging their kind thoughts whilst thinking what a load of tosh. Which feels hypocritical. Would never complain or be offended, it's meant well.0 -
... talk to people with MBAs ... and I always feel that I can't keep up. It's like a special club where I can't understand the rules to get in.
So if we're ever there ..... you let me know when they're present and I'll sit next to you.0 -

Thanks, I hope that will help me understand a little once I have ruminated on a bit.0 -
Estate agents are rubbish. You might have thought my househunting notes were scant.... non-existant.
I used RM to contact a bunch of agents about some houses - and only one got back to me.
There's another house (bit too expensive but they don't know that) - and on 6th November I'd used RM to contact the agent for more details. Heard nothing back. It's still for sale, so on Tuesday I used RM to contact the agent again - still heard nothing from them.
They now have my email, my mobile, my house phone ... and two emails asking for information.
No wonder the house isn't showing as sold yet!0 -
Maybe they just like putting the pictures up to tease you PN!0

Just phoned them. They hadn't got me on their system, no record of me contacting them. And, it's sold.0
