Some one who knows you are sensible nikkster.

I have remembered the password and now am mass downloading books. :)
Well, someone who thinks I am anyway! Having said that, I have now survived my first solo foray to a country where English isn't the first language (this most speak it v well).

Enjoy your books, lir. I'm back online with my phone :) Must remember to try and pace myself...

Was it here I mentioned an ash vacuum the other week? Lidl have one at £30 on sale from Monday, with a 3 year guarantee.

Threads ago, some of you were talking about google killing your website hits, the rest of us nodded politely. This article explains it, in as near to english as you are going to get, given the subject matter.

As people on this thread have spoken highly of it, and you are an educated and cultured bunch who often refer to thought provoking links I have bought one of your recommendations to share with my family.

We now have copy of elf.

No violence, no sex, no bad language. My kind of movie.

Mr Spirit looks a bit puzzled, in a "you never buy DVDs, what possessed you to buy that kind of way".

Has anyone managed to get anything good in Amazon's Black Friday sale? I've not found this as good as last year's sale with my bargain £65 telly. However DH managed to pick up a Miele vacuum cleaner at about a third off the Amazon price (which is about 40-45% off the RRP). I've been after the same cleaner for about a year, so not a bad result. Shame we missed the half priced one at the beginning of the week though.
Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

I was looking for GHDs, found them cheaper direct from GHD.

    What comet? Where?

Sorry, I've been in a world with about 200 people this week, and haven't had time to follow the news!
