Well there's 6 of them in the team plus the boss. I'd expect at least one or two to leave each year as it is something of a stepping stone job.
I was told via email which is pretty bloody annoying as I know the bloke quite well. It's a bit cowardly really. Still it was quite a nice email.
I'm actually a bit more gutted than I thought I'd be TBH. Oh well. I got a group hug off my daughter and her toy kitten so that's everything alrightmystic_trev wrote: »And that's what matters.
I'm sure this is only a minor setback in your rise to International stardom!100% agree with Trev on this - there are more important things in life than running the world, you have a lot to be proud of, you income is not something I would ever judge you on.
Health, happiness & family are all more important Gen. It would've been great had you got it, but another chance will appear sooner rather than later. Trev & michaels are spot on.
I'd be annoyed by the email thing though - they could've had the decency to look you in the eye...It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
One of the things in the sale was that tennis-racquet-shaped thing for killing insects, as used naked by the partners of various NP.
Yes apparently the thing that looks a bit like a tennis raquet is used to kill flies by swinging it round and hitting the poor inseects. This is why we refer to the NP who own and use these devices (whilst naked) as 'swingers'I think....0 -

I still haven't got replacement milk, for the milk that ran out about 10 days ago. Every day I've thought "today's the day" ..... not got round to it. But maybe today's the day..... as it's not just milk, it's milk, bread, eggs, cheese, spuds, baguettes, noodles and pepsi I'm out of as I kept waiting one moe day... one more day.....0

LOL at the main debate board!
Usually someone post a "timber!!!/house prices rocket up" style thread.
Such a thread gets loads of people commenting how great/awful that is.
This month, someone posts that house prices are flat thread.

Good news, PN. It sounds like Comet Ison may still be with us!
Gen, you've had a fair number of set-backs over the years. That just shows you're trying. No set-backs = no chances taken, which is also not good.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
