Pastures, if you've got no heating for winter, do you want an old log burning stove (remind me when back from Kiev if you do)0 -
We'll bring a picnic.
I've got some of these things, but in boxes/storage. I don't need glasses as I never have anybody round and I don't drink booze ..... I drink everything straight from the can, or from a mug.... I have 3 mugs.
... and you can bring a vacuum.... mine's broken, I need a new one. I'd ask you to bring a ladder so I can take the blown bulbs out .... but I've no spares anyway until I've got them out to find what fitting I need to buy.
It's a bit ... er.... basic here.0 -
Sorry CK, happy birthday! Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

I am having a rosacea day today. Not only do I look like a strawberry blancmange (which auto correct helpfully changed to strawberry language), but it is sore too. Bah! I stopped once as I came over all funny - and I sat on somebody's garden wall. A car driving along the road the other way pulled over and the driver came running over to ask if I was OK as apparently I'd got all grey.
November 2011 I had my own good samaritan experience:o.
I was due to present to a lecture theatre of people who where being consulted about job losses:(. Prior to speaking I nipped out to a water fountain near another seminar room which had a training course in progress. As I got myself a cup of water a man attending the course came over and asked me how I was. I said fine and returned to give my presentation.
After speaking and answering questions I went and sat down. Through the glass in the door a man was beckoning to me. I left my seat to go and see how I could help. It was the man from the water cooler...and an A&E consultant. The next door course was advanced life support...and the chap had thought I looked in need of their assistance. I must have reached a new low in looking rough:)
I was taken to A&E and spent the day there whilst they established I had not had a heart attack.
On the same day I had a text from my husbands phone, written by a paramedic who was in the ambulance taking my OH to a different A&E as Mr S had collapsed. My daughter came to me, then went 30 miles along the motorway to see & retrieve her dad at tea time.
I looked terrible one morning this week according to a colleague (made me feel great) and had to reassure them I really was fine.0 -
