I know this sounds a bit alarmist...but it feels a bit like snow here, not earlier it didn't, but were it to snow later I'd not be too surprised at all. Temperatures have dropped a lot this afternoon. Hmmm.
Thinki might turn dog heater up tonight!0 -
Why does everyone feel the need to remind me I'm getting old?

CK, we are still waiting to find out the name/breed/age of the pup - it's urgent.
There was also quite an interest in lady CK's nail polish as well!0 -

Awww, three weeks - I take it he isn't home with you yet. I hate the waiting bit before they get there - and widdle on your floor/keep you up all night/chew modem cables.
He will be a chewer of the highest order:eek:0 -

POSH ALERT!!!
I've never heard of a dog heater before - in my day they were turfed outside and lived outdoors in kennels!!
Dog heater indeed!!

My posh alert is this week's greedy, unnecessary, treats ..... things that make me go fat
I went into Lidl and got a little bag of their Xmas choc barrels, a bag of their Peanut-Choco bars and 3 mini blackcurrant cheesecakes. So there went a posh alert £3.18 of totally unnecessary, indulgent and greedy buys
For proper food I got some 22p Tesco pittas, cheapest Lidl spuds, cheapest Lidl mature cheddar, cheap Lidl Weetabix and a bag of sugar (for the weetabix). So about £7 on "real food".0 -

In my day a dog heater was when you got the Labrador to sit on your lap so that it kept you warm and you could avoid putting heating on for an extra couple of days. More recently and sans dog, I have used DH for same purpose. The dog never complained when I used it as a foot warmer though. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

We don't have Ny heating remember. The dogs have an electric heater which is the main source of heat for the whole house. By keeping 'their room' warm I'm also keeping part of the house warm.
We had kennel dogs too, In the past, but they had heat lamps.0 -

This is of course one of the main purposes of pets
I know how cold it really is, as compared to whole cold I feel, by where on the bed the cats sleep....tonight I should think they'll be under the duvet as soon as I get in bed.0
