    I've been Money Tipped!
Spirit's not working part-time until next year. And my bd's on a Saturday. So, your kind offer, on balance, wouldn't work for all concerned I didn't think.

Could we meet on an evening? Don't know til we ask spirit....:)

silvercar I checked today, yes my parents had white limestone every where you want white.

Neither can remember which local supplier they went with.

While I don't like this one linked it also shows less dark.....so people are still producing them

Not really keen on driving far after dark these days. I'm out of practice and oncoming cars blind me - and the signage down this way's quite dire. Every time I go more than 20 miles I come back by a new, circuitous and "best guesstimate" or "see where this road leads/if there's a sign with a name on I recognise" route.

But, technically, yes, I could do an evening.

Then we need to show (with apologies to S Club 7) that there ain't no party like an online party.

Sorry you are feeling sick still NDG, hope that feeling goes soon.

I know another NP that has a birthday in just over two weeks' time .... where did the last 30 years go????

Not doing anything/not going anywhere, no presents and I will get one card max.

Post your address here, and I guarantee you more cards. In fact, we'll come round for a party. :)

Awww, three weeks - I take it he isn't home with you yet. I hate the waiting bit before they get there - and widdle on your floor/keep you up all night/chew modem cables.

He will be with us just after Christmas. I'm not looking forward to the training, but it's been a while since we had a dog (well before DDs were born), so will be nice :)
He will be a chewer of the highest order:eek:

    Wasn't that a member of the NP?:D
    Well stood in CK....

    POSH ALERT!!!

Two years older than you were a year and a day ago!

    Happy Birthday!

    Thanks NDG!

I will be back later on!

It wouldn't be much of a party. One room, no heating, no food, no chairs, no table and the lights have blown in the kitchen 3'.

Also, no sounds, no music, no entertainment ... and a small portable TV with freeview channels.

Oh - and no booze. Only coffee is cheap Lidl instant and there's no tea.

    :)

Pastures, if you've got no heating for winter, do you want an old log burning stove (remind me when back from Kiev if you do)

I think it's more about the spirit (bring and share etc) than the materialistic views. As Katie Melua said in the 90s, the toys and freedom wouldn't make her happy, it became about what she could make.
