But what was the answer on the colour?
I forgot to ask

I doubt its Important.
He's so happy with my eyes he says he thinks that every one ( including previous eye guy) is being unfairly alarmist and that neurology are shifting responsibility. He said unless further problems he doesn't intend to put me on the twelve week clinic list because it would be a waste of my time. My vision, when I have it, is perfect ( not jus in normal range but far better than normal) and the problem is neurological.
But he did confirm occular rosacea, and annoyed he cannot prescribe for that. And the blepharitis . He has suggested I try something called an eye bag. He also thinks the rather Halloween colouring of my whites is roceacea but also just 'pain and stress' and shrugged. And then grinned and said, your neurologist is x isn't it? :rotfl::T.0 -

I assume this means it was lower as if it was higher he would have no doubt attempted to elicit an increased bid from us.

Feeling happy.

There's something I want to go to on Saturday evening. I've asked various people if they could babysit or have my kids round their place, but until this evening everyone I've asked is away for half term or otherwise busy that evening. Anyway, tonight I tried phoning a single parent friend. She can't come round here to sit, of course, because her own kids (younger than mine) need her at home. But I only need to be out between about 4:30 and 9:15 (or 9:30 at a pinch) so my kids won't need to go to bed and can be looked after at her house. So, I asked her. And she said yes.
And then she asked if I could have her kids from 8:45 to 12:30 on a Saturday morning in a few weeks' time, which is fine because I had nothing booked for that morning. So now I don't have to feel I'm being burdensome to her planting my kids on her.

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

That sort of reads a good news doesn't it? In a nutshell, eyes are OK but affected by the mystery neurological illness that is as yet an unknown?
Any more news from the London docter you saw?PasturesNew wrote: »I hope he knows this ..... he's worth less than a YTS Lad.
I was sure I quoted a replied to this........must have done it in my head rather than on the keyboard.
Well, one of the things DD said when she first started working us was 'errrm Mum, what does Dad actually 'do'?
He was busy, busy all the time with this and that and does all the corporate deliveries and tricky phone calls. I did struggle to define his role though.
The 1st month he didn't come in we really missed his input of 'nothing job' as suddenly we were getting clogged up with these 'nothing jobs' that used to fill his day.
We have someone who comes in PT which mopped up a lot of the mundane tasks he used to do and he still pops in for a day or 2 half days each week to do manly things like moving stock, dispatching a 48 carton delivery today, unloading a 36 carton delivery from Romania and putting it in place, speak to awkward wholesale customers and deal with chargeback paperwork.
If he's not in, I will unload a large delivery no problem (donkey is my middle name
) as it's like a free workout.
But his value to the house renovation has got to be about 1k+ per week as he's on it W/E as well.0 -

..sort of sounds hopeful.
Maybe they get to the end of the 6 week period and then you have to final bids?
That's stressful in itself but I guess you just put the offer you made in as your bid and let it go if you are outbid.0 -
Such a shame we aren't local to each other as we would be happy to help. I miss having small kids charging around my house.I hope you told the agent that 'I'm a Toydarian. Your Jedi mind tricks don't work on me.'
Obviously, given it's 'soon to be' luxury status, we may just take them out instead but you know what I mean?

You are lovely and I'm sure they'd enjoy spending time with you. Now we just need somebody to invent a transporter (a la Star Trek) so we can beam them direct to your house regardless of the intervening miles.

i hate the stupid house buying game. it would be far better if all sellers had to instruct an independent survey (with liability to the eventual buyer) and then houses were just sold on ebay with everyone's bid being visible and the buyer being liable to pay whatever they offered. you could even use the "rep" system with buyers having to submit themselves to due diligence and being rated by the site and sellers being able to elect only to accept bids from buyers with a score over a certain level.
of course hamish might end up subject to legal proceedings when he woke up the night after a particularly heavy night on the single malt and found that he now owned most of aberdeen.0 -

I would definitely have Lydia's kids ( or michaels). Or NDG's but she has a troop lined up for them. I have high hopes for future np offspring I can borrow at meet ups when ( I'm sure others will confirm) I'm on best behaviour:)0
