Its all for the rad being plumbed tomorrow, I'm only painting what absolutely HAS to be done to before tomorrow.
You may need to sand down again if it's not drying well but that should sort it out.0 -

Will you pluck and draw them? It is not something I will do.
OH has his first shoot of the season on Saturday. If he brings a brace home they will replace the hanging basket:(
We will eat them mid week or they will go in the freezer when 'oven ready'. I cook them but he is in charge of dealing with them.0 -

I think it might need one more too.:(.
I guess I'm going to be up till really late ( tiny area to paint) and up really early:(
At the weekend OH painted our bedroom window frame. When the undercoat dried it had some very cute cat paw prints in it.0 -
It looks really unattractive to me now as well
I think that's thing with extending a house. There's a point at which you lose the original character unless you design in a new, large focal point or you just appreciate that an extension should be submissive and wrap it around side and back. The large focal point of their house is lost by extending sideways and flush. it makes the original house disappear and leaves them with a porch and too many windows.
I don't think it was really about needing a bigger house, it was about creating a showier house. Did they win the lottery?Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Good news - the hamster is fine and I know where she is.
Bad news - we can't make her come out from under the fridge.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

No, thankfully. I feel like a fraud now. I'm getting twitter and facebook updates from the pop up restaurant.
I'm really impressed that you cook them, I'm not confident enough. I think probably because I don't really eat enough game to have an instinct as to when it's done.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Ah yes, the ground I ride past on my way to work.
The sky really looked like that, it's not some photoshopped fakery.0 -

The house had been turned once already, its on a junction of 2 roads and someone had turned it to the other road in order to make the side the front and they then built a bungalow on some of the back garden. That was quite sensible - it still left them with 100 ft of back garden, which is the same of the road it was turned onto. Now the extension adds side and depth, so the footprint is a reasonable shape. Internally it was a bit of a mish mash anyway.I don't think it was really about needing a bigger house, it was about creating a showier house. Did they win the lottery?
I heard (2nd hand) that they got big discounts on the works they did - at least 50%. That explains the very large signs advertising services that were pinned to the hoardings - probably all on the cutting room floor.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Oh dear...have you got a fluffy stick?
They are quite good for poking small mammals hiding behind immovable objects and don't hurt them. You prod them and get someone to catch as she runs out.0
