Don't worry, its just your age....
We have had DS with fairly poor breathing over the weekend and now DW has a very sore throat so 4 nights with very disrupted sleep for me plus exposure to all those germs, i am not confident I will avoid catching anything, I have sneezed twice this morning....
When we were having DKs apparently the official policy was not to tell to avoid a higher level of 'failed' female pregnancies in certain ethnic groups but then they said as we didn't fit the risk profile they were happy to bend the rules and tell us...I think....0 -

Mine were born in 2000 and 2003. They were happy to tell us but were clearly following rules that said they had to stress that it wasn't reliable and that they weren't guaranteeing anything.
With DS, I asked, and they said they could have a look and make a guess. The person doing the scan said something like "Well, of course we can never be 100% sure, but I can have a look if you... that's definitely a boy!" DS was positioned to make it really obvious, just as Sue describes for hers. Three years later, DD also kindly positioned herself to make it abundantly clear that there was nothing in the relevant location.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

How's he feeling about going back to work? Is he OK?
Pretty happy and a bit relieved that things are getting back to normal. He has to get the full ok from docs first, but hoping that is just a stamp of approval based on how he feels.
I didn't help by elbowing him in the stomach in my sleep so am back in the spare again. That's after 3 days back in the main:(Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Cousin had an amnio for some medical reason and was told she was having a girl. Decorated the nursery in shades of pink, then produced a healthy boy. Apparently there is always a risk the amnio will draw a sample of the mother's blood.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Thanks for the unicycle idea, but I don't quite know where he would cycle? Can't imagine him uni cycling down the street!
Person who got it me sees a bloke going down a dual carriageway on their way to work every morning on his unicycle!
I need to get better at it. I'd like to perhaps use it to get to work for a week, perhaps for charidee or something (but we don't like to talk about that!) but I'm not competent at the moment.
Can't understand why he wouldn't unicycle down the street? It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
Are you sure you can't travel? Also, zagubov, what about you?
I'd be unable to get either part of the day of the event off to get there in time, or part of the next day to allow me to get back in time, off work.
It is very very likely that if London, I'd need to train there/back.
Perhaps next time, with a bit more notice it'll be possible?:)It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

Where do you play?
I've been trying (unsuccessfully) to get a decentish app to play. My friend who I used to play regularly has moved away.
My difficulty is more due to incompetence with technology than anything else though!:oIt's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

One of the things that drew me to where I live now was seeing my neighbour riding his unicycle down the street when we viewed. I appreciated the oddballness of it all. In discussing it with him later, I discovered that he owned several and was something of an aficionado. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
