Aha - you're tempted! think of the fun the dogs could have skidding on the tiles in the 'garden' when it's wet:p

I'm imagining the cleaning that goes on, moving all those frills and flounces to polish every day.

I'm thinking less babara Cartland viva, and more settled traveller,? The two are so close its a roughy, bout I think the nature of the soft toy is the clincher for me.

No bugs. Not tempted in the least. :D

My current bathroom temptation is however similarly gaudy. I'm after a giant clam shell to turn into a sink.

Apologies to lir, I am guessing you may want to start over with your home decoration now that you have this inspiration.

Ouch ouch...even the photos hurt my eyes.
We once went to see a property and it had a pink bath and golden taps. My wife took a sneaky piccy because it was so bad, but this beats it all.
The stuffed dog at the fireplace is nice though.

    I like gold taps.

I'm so bored of cold metals, In a cold Northern European country we need more warm colours in our lives IMO.

The only reason I went for white metal in this bathroom was to save money, In the master bathroom I'm hoping to find something less cold.

I am still watching House Hunters International on a daily basis (Travel Channel) as it gives me a fix of seeing how people live around the world. Yesterday they were househunting in Kathmandu. I was very impressed by the way the shower trays, basins and sinks there are made of a bronzy metal - looked very warm and artisanal.

I feel sorry for the normal person who has the blue room but has to go through the rest of the house everytime they come in and out or even worse need to use the bathroom ....

A possible for Chewy? The dining hall is a touch open plan, and the garden light and...er light.

Now I want to meet the owners.
