The jungle that used to be where my garden ought to be is now gone. The tree that was reputed to be damaging the drain has gone, the bushes round the edges have gone, all the overgrown everything has gone, and the builder (the friendly one from 5 doors down the road), his assistant and his friend-with-the-digger have started levelling everywhere. It looks twice the size.
It won't carry on looking this big once the trampoline is back, but at least it should still look quite a bit bigger than before, especially since once it's flat, the trampoline will be able to go at the edge rather than in the middle, which was the only flat bit.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

A few months back I took our trampoline apart (it was too decrepit to pass on to someone else. On the same day I read someone on another thread putting one up for their small kids.
I was frightened to turn the radio on in case they played "The Circle of life":DThere is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

Thanks for the unicycle idea, but I don't quite know where he would cycle? Can't imagine him uni cycling down the street!
Happy B'day, missKool.
Our trampoline is the most expensive sun lounger we have ever bought.
I really need to get a cover for it as the springs are starting to look rusty, but I'm loath to spend more money on it. Would really like to get rid but the kids claim it is useful for sunbathing and eating take away food.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Happy birthday misskool! Enjoy your new toy. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Nah, everything is a toy in the right hands. iPhones, Macputers, Ferraris, boats... No point in having them if you can't have fun:D. They are just toys for big people. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
