omg I had a pair of handmade crochet loons when I was a kid in the late 60's / early 70's and matching 'gilet' (geeeelay). Both knitted by my mother and in bright orange.

I can remember my aunt wearing something like that to my cousin's wedding, only hot pants, not loons. With big platform wedges and a huge floppy hat and sunglasses. Only she could carry that off. Sadly she's no longer with us.

    Posh alert!
Two houses, two developments... AND a holibob!!
    :)

That makes it sound flasher than the reality ;)

The cunning plan was to be away whilst we did really horrid, disruptive, dirty works + fitting the megaflow.....and guess what? Yup, plumber got delayed, builder got delayed so ....

I had a look on the back of an EDF bill last week, to be amazed at the fact they seem to offer one of the lowest emission energy supplies in the UK.

Me too ....but I did it early.

Hopefully 36th attempt will crack it for good. I think I had more weeks not smoking than smoking this year....so I spend more time quitting than failing to quit ;)

It did t sound as bad at the stadium. Tiny was good

Did you have fun? Who did you/do you support? DH (there) and I (home) supported the Vikings. He thought there were more Steelers fans there though. DH is a Bucs fan (like Purch). I'm not a big fan, but follow the Saints more than anyone else.

Watch the TV coverage and be grateful that your sound was muffled:p.

Really? Which one? Where did you get it?

It's one of the hole in the back ones. It's not on the website anymore, I think was called optical or something. There was another one the same with splodges of vivid colour which was on facebook a few times but it was out of stock when I looked.

I wear it with leggings - I was worried it was a bit mutton but it's had lots of compliments from the mums. There's a market there, somewhere :)

I did get it from the website, I've followed the facebook page for an age now. So pretty, but I'd not have had the confidence to wear when I was in the right age bracket and things were a bit more taut!

More than one of the NP owns more than one house but I'm not sure that an average is what matters in these things.

Unless Nikkster is looking to move or remortgage then the value of her home in a years time is pretty unimportant compared to whether she has a new sofa...

PS Nikki as well as having a sofa and bed available we are also now 'inheriting' a high quality but slightly old fashioned dining set from our new purchase - also coincidentally due to complete on the 7th.

what sort of sofa? we're looking for another one but we don't buy new or ikea :p

I want cake.:(. Or steamed pudding. Or something like that. Carby, crumbly sweetness. :(.

Just as well we don't have anything like that for me to be thinking about.

I think two days of laziness have almost killed this cold. I just have a sort throat left. And a carb craving with a sweet tooth. ( oh, and I'm almost totally deaf, but that will resolve when congestion clears. I'm actually quite enjoying it. )

    They'd taste good wherever.

    Even in a book.

    I just love them.
