Just got caught out by my first pot of Philadelphia...... I'd read the date on the packet.... but hidden in small writing, somewhere else, it says "eat within one week".

I'd had it in the fridge, can't remember when I opened it - maybe 10 days ago .... I peeled back the foil and it looked like it was fluffy.... so I put on my super strength glasses and took it outside to see. Liquid in the bottom, fluffy bit on the top. Cut out the fluffy bit and lobbed it into the bush .... and came inside to check the packaging. If it hadn't said "eat within..." I'd have still had the rest of it.... but I spotted it, so no philly on hot toasted baguettes for me.

We're sleeping on the sofa bed in the kitchen tonight, which the dogs think is great.

We just unfolded it to make it up ( I know, shameful, but I'm tired) and I took a hilarious picture. I'd forgotten how it is to sleep with dog dog. DH ( who is home) and I have our shoulders to gather but our feet at either edge of the bed...because there is a isn't greyhound spread out in the middle of us at leg level. Her head on my thighs her tail over his knee.

    She's content.

I stopped unfolding sofa beds after the first night. When I realised I had to move my PC and box it was sitting on, remove all the cushions, pull the thing out, make the bed, then be without the PC ..... and in the morning remove all the bedding and fold the bed away. Nuisance it was.

Being tiny I just sleep fully stretched out on the sofa as a sofa.

Well, this "new" WDYTYA turns out to be a 3 year old episode, so just new to Yesterday channel.

    It's this bloke: http://blog.findmypast.co.uk/2010/08/who-do-you-think-you-are-alexander-armstrongs-blue-blood/

Yet another posh one, with money, mansions and the odd "Sir" and other titles floating around in his upline.

I don't know who the bloke is, seen him before, I'll wiki him.... ah, comedian http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexander_Armstrong_%28comedian%29

Just a bunch of posh people begatting more posh people in big houses really.

The programme started with him driving along and pointing out a huge park and saying "That's named after my grandfather...."

Can;t sleep. Uncomfortable, stood up, got dressed, still felt uncomfortable, got undressed again. Horrible "hot insides" feeling; I hate that, I seem to burn up from the inside, which is why I don't need much heat on until mid winter.... horrible feeling. Finally gave up trying to get comfortable, so turned the news on and surfing t'Internet.

RSPB have decided people/kids should have a sleepout this weekend. There's also a meteor shower expected.

So, those of you with kids might want to drag your lilos out to the garden

I find sleeping time available is plenty inadequate enough already without finding extra nocturnal activities. Planning decision due by the 15th, not overly confident but I'm not sure that it is impossible that it will ever pass which leaves me in a quandary on how to proceed...
    I think....

Have you bought the property, or do you just have an option?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?
