Bach's Double Violin Concerto in D minor is one of my favourite pieces of music, it's utterly sublime. I also love Pacabel's Canon, do you know it?

Fantastic news! I'm not surprised you feel like a mother hen with one chick, though, but it's a great step.

Thanks NDG, I've become uber-protective. Canon is a beautiful piece of music; though being a certain age I can't hear it without thinking of sheep:o.

So... after making what felt like a million phone calls on Thurs/ Fri, I'm still going to be spending tomorrow on tenderhooks (i.e. still yet to exchange).
This is complicated by me being at the other end of the country for the week, I'm going to have to explain that I'm trying to sort out the lower levels of my pyramid of needs so I might disappear every now and again.

Think I'm going to make the most of spending the week in a hotel and run a bath...

Sheep? You've lost me with that?

Sounds like you and LIR are determined to make non-bath-access an NP feature, along with Judaism, mushroom hatred, and Herts?

Out-of-date chocolate. Yeah, that'll happen. It's like those recipes to use up leftover wine.

Reminds me of Poppy9's weekly menu back in the day!

While I was down stairs I checked, we still have chocolate from when DH was working in Brussels. I guess that's ood. I cannot get it out of the cupboard. We also have a fair bit of kosher white chocolate. I should bake with it all over winter. Get rid of it all.

I have access to a bath, they just feel quite extravagant water and time-wise! Also, I think you'll find all the best NP love mushrooms (or to be accurate, the majority have strong feelings one way or another) :)
