It's not just the ones who get rejected, DW was watching this evening and I was thinking why can't we go back to the good old days of auto-tume...
I have been watching the American Football from Wembley as that is where DH has been. Gene Simmons of Kiss annhiliated the Star Spangled Banner. Problem is, I only have two hands and couldn't work out whether to cover my ears or my eyes, as in high def his stuck on hair looked like it was made from Fuzzy Felt. In the end I went for eyes and hit the remote button with my knee. Then when interviewed later, he said how important it is for artists to sing live and not use backing tracks. I doubt there was a person watching who didn't think "for goodness sake use the backing track!"

Now there is a good idea - currently as well as her exam pieces we have 'easy to play Abba' which is actually rather fun when played as strings with choral but easy to play classic nb would definitely liven up the house for DW and I.
You can get piano music for loan from your local big library. The library where I work also has music and I was thinking that Alicia Keys is quite popular. DD1 would get her ressies free of charge as she is not old enough to be charged for them, so she could work her way through the entire piano back catalogue if she was that way inclined. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? As my Mama was the only musical one among her grandchildren, my great-grandmother left her piano and music to her, so we had a wealth of music books and sheets to choose from as children, all labelled "Caroline Morecroft" in a rather beautiful copperplate hand....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

This post says 10:14, I make it 11:14. I would happily take the extra hour of sleep0 -
Your post, to my eyes, says it was made at 11.22pm. Sorry....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

Hmmmm.... interesting. Clocks in the US may have gone back last night but we don't change for another week. I wonder if there is a disparity in IT land. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I was reading something weird about that. Arizona doesn't change its clocks but it contains a big portion of the Navajo Nation which does observe Daylight Saving Time. But this completely surrounds another reservation called the Hopi Nation which doesn't.There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0
