Nor me. I watched a documentary a while ago about polygamy in Utah and Arizona - fascinating to learn about, but not something that appealed to me.
Jelly - is your heart set on a harem? It may make it more difficult for us to find people to put in your queue.
I'm good at sharing lots of things - one of the benefits of 3 siblings.
That most definitely excludes men in general, and OH in particular. I'm quite possessive in that way....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

I know what you mean. I have three siblings too. I began very young with the idea that there are many things that it's necessary to share, but not the loved one whom I take to bed - I named my teddy bear "Own Teddy" to make it crystal clear that, unlike just about everything else in the house, he was my own and not to be shared with my three big brothers.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
Fast work NDG.
I mIn the olden days courtship was slower.
Met OH at work, we were both graduate trainees in the same blue chip. July 1980.
First date gin and tonic in a pub near work. Told him my only joke. It is absolutely awful and still the only joke I can remember. April 1981.
Second date. April 1981.
Proposed May 1982.
Married September 1983.
DD January 1988.
Met now ex hubby at a party held by my ex boyfriend of one week in Feb 1987.
Got engaged July 1987
Moved in together in May 1988
Married March 1990
First son born October 1993.
For my parents
Met in 1958 in Southend although my dad and my mum's brother were at the same school.
Got engaged May 1960
Got married June 1960
First son born November 1960 although he sadly died April 1961.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

Met for the first time in 1982, just good friends.
Started to fancy him like rotten in 1985 and unknown to me, he felt the same way...we both kept quiet.
We both got other partners but still saw each other socially (as one big crowd) through the late 80's and early 90's.
Lost touch after James was born until the late 90's early 2000's when we, by chance, saw each other outside a pub...we then came clean about how we used to feel but we were both in a relationship by that time.
Caught up with each other again June last year, another chance meeting, at a sporting event and finally made it official a month later. We made it! Such a great story.
Makes one wonder, though, how your life would have turned out differently if one or other of you hadn't been so diffident in 1985.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? That was rapid by my standards. I knew OH for about 2 years before anything happened.
It would not get through the filter.
At a team building event a couple of months ago, amongst the many challenges we had to complete, was one where two of us were picked to tell a joke that made th invigilator laugh.
I was picked and told mine. As one observer said of me afterwards ,"classy lady";)0 -
Apologies Spirit - meant to say that it sounds like good news. Really pleased for you (and the rest of the Spirits)
I nearly bought some Pro-Plus on the way home this evening. I think its a bit beyond that now though. I can see why people get tempted by beta-blockers etc. Good job I a) wouldn't know how to get hold of them and b) would be thinking about the side effects.
Dodgy offer. Will meet you in a dark corner of the NP thread to do the deal.0 -
Good luck MissK,
Hope the tramadol has done its stuff and you are feeling physically up to the journey and interview.
You just have to 'peak' for that hour or so, so reserve all energy for that, take taxis rather the tubes etc. As for the interview panel, The rule about visualising them all sitting on the loo still applies. If any of them frame deliberately 'tough questions' or are aggressive, do not be concerned it is because they are constipated, they can't help it.
Afterwards you have the fashionista meeting to look forward to .0 -
Sorry I've not been around as much as normal (and I've got an appointment with the GP at 8.45).
I'm suffering from extreme tiredness (in that I naturally seem to be working backwards 4 hours each day), and headaches/cramps that I think need a little attention.
DD's have got Den Znani on Sunday, so I hope I'm feeling a little better (it's a celebration for first day of the Russian school year, which is always September 1st, even on a weekend), but apart from that, when I get back, I'm probably going to head back to bed. I've got DD's today, and OH is going to open the office for me, as she's very nice
I've been trapped either in the office/car/house for the last few days, due to hectic working hours, so I'm hoping it's something to do with that, rather than anything else to add to my existing health issues (I think I've mentioned them on previous NPT's, and don't want to merge them together as I'm personally identifiable)
I will let you know how I get on, when I'm back!
