Good luck to MsK! A drug enhanced performance at interview?

Lets hope they don't test her afterwards!

I nearly bought some Pro-Plus on the way home this evening. I think its a bit beyond that now though. I can see why people get tempted by beta-blockers etc. Good job I a) wouldn't know how to get hold of them and b) would be thinking about the side effects.

We found out recently someone who was a uni friend of DH has become a vicar. They dropped out of touch before we got married. We had a difficult conversation when his fianc! kept saying 'but you HAVE to get married in a church' and we kept politely sidestepping (we were still planning a bigger wedding then. Eventually I pointed out it just wasn't going to be that simple, as I didn't really want to have confirmation just for the sake of a pretty wedding and the Boss isn't a Christian. She was quiet for a bout five minutes and then started again with the 'but you HAVE to get married in a church'. She was very young for her age, and was only 20 I think,..they were getting married upon her graduation. But I hope their horizons have broadened.

I think maybe friend didn't realise DH wasn't Christian, there was some cooling rapidly, or it might just have been that fianc!e felt the distance was too big to gulf....shame, he was a nice chap, not a bosom buddy of dh's , just a nice chum..you know? Think a few other friends have been dropped too actually....

Here's hoping she's grown up a bit since then.

I know I find it almost impossible to predict which friendships will and which won't survive the transition from "friend I see regularly in the course of my everyday life" to "friend at a bit of a distance that I have to make a bit of an effort to stay in touch with". I can think of two in particular (one when I was a student and one only a few years ago) who were very very close friends of mine when we were at the same college/workplace, but didn't see able/willing to bother to reply to letters/emails etc once we were living in different places. Other people, whom I was merely good friends with when living near, have turned into really lasting friendships whatever the distance.

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

I don't have an anti-virus on the ipad. Should I?

That I don't know... my tablet isn't a Mac. Sorry not a Mac household so don't know answer. My general plan with av software is if it is available, free and recommended then get it.

    Good luck missk!

As regards anitvirus I've got sophos antivirus and it always finds the same threats . Hard to clean them out as they're Windows viruses in old mac software that I can't start up without firing up a virtual environment that runs Mac OS 9.

TBH I can't be bothered but if I ever get the time and energy I'll download Windows antivirus software then open up Windows XP and Mac OS9 at the same time and use the antivirus to clean out the old software. If my computer doesn't catch fire from running all the OSs at the same time.

    Nope I probably CBA!:D

SC for ipads there's a link to some software but don't have any reviews

I think if you're not married it is an anniversary of when the female 'participant' decided that a relationship had commenced. Whether that means the first kiss, the first date or the first time she felt a sinking feeling of general disappointment I am unable to confirm.

Umm... In chewie-universe, does the male participant get to decide anything? Does he even have a veto if the female decides that a relationship has commenced?

Nor me. I watched a documentary a while ago about polygamy in Utah and Arizona - fascinating to learn about, but not something that appealed to me.

Jelly - is your heart set on a harem? It may make it more difficult for us to find people to put in your queue. ;)
