    Are you superman or something?:D

I may have missed it, but cannot recall any media coverage at all of a calamity caused by the failure of a Herts man to expedite an email within 900 seconds.

Did get to read about a nice bloke who had a weekend defending children from Grandma wars, so that might have been it.

Aww - Good luck for Tomorrow MsK, perhaps being slightly out of it on pills will help you come over as chilled....I know I would give you the job. Coffee afterwards again? Did I tell you when I got back last time an email had come in that needed to be actioned within 15 minutes which had more than passed and my boss when she saw the contents asked me in a rather pointed way what time it had arrived....

I'm meeting a rather glamorous fashionista tomorrow as I missed her out the last time. :o Don't suppose you could get a day trip to the O2 arranged by tomorrow am?

    Envy, pure envy

House is also in the middle of nowhere, the back of beyond, 2 miles (by road) from the nearest Post Office and pub (1 mile over the fields) and the oil bill for the heating and hot water would make a grown MSE man cry, even with my mother's frugal hand on the thermostat. So it's not all good news.

I think there is a probably a time and place for these. But am I the only nice woman who thinks its not anniversaries or birthdays?

Depends on the recipient, I suppose? i don't think I have strong feelings either way.
We found out recently someone who was a uni friend of DH has become a vicar.

I discovered not too long ago that my closest mate at boarding school was ordained recently. I didn't see that coming from the 11 - 13 year old!

I went to stay at her house for a week one summer holiday - and it was a jaw-dropping experience. Heated indoor private swimming pool, private 6 or 7 hole golf course, private indoor riding school, helipad.....
Deluxe supper at home, with jewellery, scented things, and something barely wearable from agent provocateur *Planned, luxury stay in.

    *edit...not for you.

The barely-wearable might not be on his person, but is definitely at least partly "for him".....

    7 year anniversary of.....?

For the unmarried I suppose there are a number of options. first date/ first xxx/ first becoming "an item"/ moving in together/ for the married it is much simpler.

I suppose the pressure is on unmarrieds more as there is always the possibility that an anniversary of some kind will lead to a proposal.

I suppose so - for me and dearly beloved, the order was roughly moving in together, then first date and first XXX pretty simultaneously, then becoming an item later.
