    Fast work NDG.

I mIn the olden days courtship was slower.

Met OH at work, we were both graduate trainees in the same blue chip. July 1980.

First date gin and tonic in a pub near work. Told him my only joke. It is absolutely awful and still the only joke I can remember. April 1981.

    Second date. April 1981.

    Proposed May 1982.

    Married September 1983.

    DD January 1988.
At least NDG and her oh knew each other first. I didn't know DH and tbh, was not particularly enamoured of him when we met. We were on our fourth date ( a holiday in Portugal) about two weeks later. I only went out with him the second time because I thought he was a nice, sweet guy and didn't want to knock his confidence :rotfl::rotfl: now I realise he is just like that all sweetness over razor sharp intentions. And I like it. :D

    I second the free AVG.

We have the BT (Macafee??) with our Broadband, and I have a paid for Norton subscription (our neighbour buys it as they share our BB).

After getting some virus thing that attached itself to google chrome neither of the other two cleared it. Friend installed AVG and it worked.

Got ride of the other two and just have AVG now.

    Joke now please!

That was rapid by my standards. I knew OH for about 2 years before anything happened.

My niece (my brother's daughter) was born near the end of May 2013.

In June 2012 my brother had his first blind date with Anna (niece's mother).

    Fast worker, my brother!!

You've missed out some other significant relationship milestones there, don't think we didn't notice (-:

    With us, it was:

September 1997 - met at university, first year of a law degree at UCL, same tutor group

December 1997 - became closer friends

March 1998 - agreed to flat share in the second year, with another person

July 1998 - 3rd person failed first year of law degree, resulting in looking for another flat-mate ASAP

September 1999 - moved in to our 3 bed flat with a person we didn't know well, meaning we spent more time as 2 of us, rather than 3 of us

October and November 1999 - spending almost all our time together

end Nov 1999 - out for clubbing night with uni mates, forgot we had separate bedrooms. First date the following night!

Ahhh... May 1982. An auspicious month. :)

P.s. I agree with Chewie - I think we need to hear the joke now please.

Had some feedback from a kind colleague on my intro, and am now inserting an overview of the entire immune system. (The rest got a tick and a smiley face - either it was ok, or he'd given up). It was precisely this kind of thing I was avoiding as it is outside my very narrow zone of comfort.
I have been saying approximately once an hour for the past few weeks:
    I hate immunology.

Definitely infected with Rage. Sorry all for my outburst. Just fed up that they keep doing it. If this was the first time I'd be less upset, ditto if it didn't keep expiring at 9pm as their call centre shuts. Am now on tablet instead which has the great free AVG av on. Which is fab. Plus reminded me, twice I've had a problem before and both times found by malwarebytes.

    And breathe....

Meanwhile back in the less self absorbed real world, can I please wish missk the very best of luck and hope you feel better.

My little tablet tried to change missk to Nissan so here's hoping you're firing on all cylinders (I'll get my coat).
