Thanks for that, I am now replying again with the information which I already sent them, and as you pointed out they already have the address...

As requested, here is the name and address of the REGISTERED KEEPER.

    [address]

Your reference number as supplied to you already here: [reference number]

The appeal is now lodged and you are now required to accept the appeal (and cancel the charge) or if you reject it provide a POPLA verification code to which the Registered Keeper is entitled - BPA Ltd Code of Practice 22.12 refers.

so i couldnt resist, hot footed it down to the peel centre this morning,,,firstly could not find/spot a scum excel worker anywhere??,,went into argos,my mate was not on but spoke with duty manager, she nearly collapsed when i said,,excel parking,,loads of complaints,,especially folk ticketed post 6pm,,interesting eh,,,anyway she said signs deffo changed in last 4 or 5 weeks, but could not give date, feels certain enough beginning of july,,went to check out sign at kfc,,theres is in rather stupid place,,parking for 15 minutes only, neither use nor arguement,,,checked out at lenght the whole of peel centre including extra bit (pc world area),all new signs incredibly clear,,though no mention of having to pay after 6pm,,i spoke with many visitors, not one knew had to pay after 6pm??? all thought it was free,, no ones told us and where does it say that were just two of replies.spent 55 minutes there in total,,eventually found scum excel worker hiding in his portakabin reading a book,,looked about 18,,? work experience,,hadnt got a clue what i was on about more interested in his book,,probably called,, how to scam the public,,,i asked him to pass on a message to simon renshawe- smith about the fact ,,signs now clear, but no mention of paying after 6pm anywhere to be seen,,he replied,,whats his name,,told him to forget it and get back to his book,,,so there you go,,the good news,,,every sign there is 100% clear & visible to all,,,bad news,,folk still think they can park there for free after 6pm just like in many years gone by.hope this helps.incidentally the excel lad said signs were changed five weeks ago,but again could not/would not give me exact date.

Then I'd leave it to time out and follow-up with an e-mail that as they did not accept or deny the appeal, or adhere to your requirement to provide the PoPLA code that you consider the charge cancelled.

Then ignore all further correspondence and lodge a complaint with The BPA for failing to provide the PoPLA code after submitting a valid appeal.
Search my post " PoPLA evidence - What to submit" on what is a good defense for a PoPLA appeal.

Nothing as of yet. How long do they typically take to reply?

Good news in the meantime though. Go look at the latest POPLA Decisions and read the one that was won on the estimate of loss being refused by the adjudicator.

Now a must include (till some ill-informed adjudicator changes things) for all appeals.

Your thread about including that point is added to my links here:

Should help the OP draw up a POPLA appeal.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Don't want to be a wet blanket, but do look at the latest Parking Prankster case on either the POPLA decisions thread or his blog.
