GPs are not specialist and the redirect me to specialists and these lasts based on prejudices are negligent if it not worst since they believe that (nobody know until present the source of migraine/headache and there is no cure for it) it is just a way to avoid going back to a full time job.
Please see below one user called Michelle is saying about his headache at http://www.healingwell.com/community/default.aspx?f=31&m=1195400 :
Ps : Presently, my GP gave me some similar prescription but they are not efficient at all.Michelle7777

YES!!! I have found that too!! I used to run a lot! SIX miles a day! I unfortunatley did some damage to my knee (poor shoes and lack of stretching!) But my knees are 100% again - but in the last few years I have quit running I had developed SEVERE migraines...missing lots of work (which is NOT like me at all!). I have seen a couple different neurologists, had CT scans, bloodwork, and finally went to a headache specialist. He suggested the occipital nerve block procedure. (but holding off on that unless I have to) I'm currently on topomax, relpax, and prior to starting to run again I would run out of my relpax (insurance would only allow six pills per month) in two weeks time!! I was getting them CONSTANTLY!!!! Well, the doctor suggested I started to run again b/c he said your body produces pain endorphins when you excercise....so I thought...what the heck!! So about a month ago I started my 'jogging' again....I have jogged 4 miles per day (about 4-5 days a week) at 5% incline on my treadmill and can you believe I have not had ONE headache since I have started this up?? I'm in total disbelief! I'm thrilled to say the least b/c these headaches have been ruling my LIFE for the past YEAR....and I have felt WONDERFUL in the past month....I have not had to take a single ounce of medication and I have my life back!! I can only hope it continues!! The 'side effects' of losing a little extra weight doesn't hurt either!!
But let me do clarify that when I was HAVING a migraine, running would intensify it - BIG TIME. I had to find a time when I was feeling decent enough to jog to start jogging....sounds crazy I know....but that is how my body works!
Five months ago, I have made a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) : until present I still waiting for the result/report from the specialist/hospital.0 -
It looks like they will refund and sweep the matter under the carpet... Happy end!
P.S. I am afraid I do not have to serve every question of Olliesdad, even my own Dad, it wastes my valuable time lol.0 -

Or they are simply completing the routine inspection without making the drama that you expected it to be.P.S. I am afraid I do not have to serve every question of Olliesdad, even my own Dad, it wastes my valuable time lol.
Indeed you do not, however making claims and then refusing to back it up negates any argument you make. You really need to do research before posting poor advice.0 -

What do you mean? I am not sure to understand.
Jessika, that's quite usual here: as soon as someone give a consumer a real advice, not "go away stupid" type, but real helpful advice, someone else jumps up to call that advice "poor" or worse. Without any evidence, just to discourage the OP from the right action.
I do not care in the least about those opinions, I care about the OPs and how to help them.0 -
What do you mean?
In addition, if they are completing the routine inspection then they will not need my any certificate from my side.
Jessica, the comment was aimed at Malchish.
Malchish, I am going to ignore the mass hypocrisy considering you have refused to back up what your saying with any evidence. The issue that the regulars have is with people like yourself posting incorrect advice that is more likely to hamper a successful outcome for the OP.0 -
They got scared of police.
I give advice free to the OP. To any other posters who seem to be alienating the OP, I could give all the substantiations for my advice - for £250+VAT.
I only choose to give free advice to OPs who ask for advice. I do not have to spend my time reporting to other posters, especially the ones who seem to be quite sarcastic towards OPS, sorry.0 -

Please do charge, so you can be taken to court for mis-selling :rotfl:0 -

Why would they be scared of the police (who have no powers in this situation)? Who is alienating the OP? You are causing more issues for posters than you are sorting..
I don't know why I am bothering to reply.. you will come back with some comment that you a martyr scouring the internet helping poor innocent posters from the nasty cyber-bullies (who are in fact not bullies, but just post correct advice which you do not like).0 -
Hello,
For your information, since my last post here I have called my bank in order to reverse the payment (I paid using my debit card) and they have sent me a form to fill and asked me on phone to bring the form to a bank branch that will fax the form to them. However, when I brought the form to the local branch, one of local branch manager asked to see me in his form and locked me inside this last for 10 minutes after he took the form to fax. When this manager came back he gave me a confirmation of the fax but until present I have not received the refund nor any explanation letter from Santander : instead I have received another form (same then the previous one to fill). The next day after this Santander manager locked me inside his office for 10 minutes I have made a complaint to Santander by phone but until present the refuse to provide a complaint reference number.
I have called the financial ombudsman and they told me that they cannot act yet since the 'bank has not told me that I can now contact them if I want (I have to follow the bank procedure first)'.
Could I directly make a complaint at the County Court against the bank for harassment?
How can I make a claim against the retailer (of the faulty trainers) since I still not have received further news from him?0
