I'm not sure I believe the OP totally, however, I've come across the odd foreign truck that's certainly doing a lot more than 60 mph, admittedly, not very often.I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0 -

It is if they haven't bypassed the limiter.0 -

Yeah, but that's so rare it's hardly worth thinking about and OP states it as though it happens every day. I should imagine it's also punished severely.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

I have posted in a similar thread before, before I had my licence removed I would sometimes use the motorway and often when travelling at 70 MPH I would be tailgated,I would keep my driving licence (the photo part) in a leather case and if being tailgated would hold it up with licence facing out back window.
Not sure if the tailgater thought I was police but many times it caused them to brake and pull back into inside lane.0 -

What was it removed for, not in proper control or careless?0 -

Dont worry its only a matter of time before Darwin gets them.
I saw a classic example last year, I saw an old montego estate, with his front bumper inches away from an Artic, he had a MSE sticker in his back window.
I commented on the car to the Mrs stating I hope he has the reaction speed of a fighter pilot sitting that close. We called at the services and had an overpriced lunch we continued our journey and hit a jam, after an hour we discovered the cause of the jam, the fire brigade were trying to cut the driver out of the montego, and it didnt look promising.
Common sense shouldn't be overridden by penny pinching.0 -

Whatever, it's certainly a criminal offence, impersonating a Police Officer.I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0 -

Err, excuse me, smahingyour was referring to my post where in fact I was doing 50mph in a 50mph limit. So you think sticking to the speed limit makes me some sort of retard?I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0
