I was going to multi-quote to remind of what to say to whom, but I don't seem to have got the hang of it. *hangs head in shame*
Today's frog - Mrs Dog has decided the bit of carpet in front of the TV is where she needs to 'go' in an emergency. After three episodes in two weeks, whoever said that you can wash carpets with plain water because there will be a residue of old soap embedded in the fibres was absolutely right.
Decluttered several £££s at the vet's, armed with a soggy white towel with pink stain, a box with the rest of the dog 'drops' in it for analysis and dog in the back of the car, clearly thinking, 'Oh goodie, a car trip this morning.' Said vet was at another surgery, but fortunately the nurse phoned her and three lots of stuff were prescribed over the phone. Mrs Dog has been dosed.
I did all the bathroom stuff on Monday, so 'Please Miss, may I be excused?'Better is good enough.0 -
Hi all
Thanks Valli (was a shock when I saw your name at the top) for this weeks list, I am in seeing as I am back from my holidays, had a fab time & fab weather in Lake District then Legoland, we got back last week but our internet wasn't being connected until Saturday (switched back to 'Vergin Media' as my DS calls it. Upon our return it was discovered our wee cat has fleas & they only like the taste of me, I am demented with the itching, she has now been treated, whole house had to be hoovered, sprayed etc & I found 2 of the little blighters in my bed :eek: so our whole room was emptied, vacuumed & sprayed, took all of Sunday to do it.
DH started with his new company on Monday I dropped DH off at the Station Monday morning as he is away all week & it is 'anticipated' he will be away next 3 weeks, Its gonna be a tough month with trying to organise childcare each day etc etc with working full time. I am going to speak to my boss today to see if I can reduce my hours, was hoping for 9-3 but don't think he will accept that so going to ask for 9-4 as MIL says she can collect kids when they start back school (2 weeks on Friday....yeehaaah!) DD is at my SIL's this week so only me & DS, the fun will begin when she comes home & WWIII breaks out between them :rotfl:
So house isnt in bad shape at all & DS & I are the tidiest among the lot of us. Hope you are all well & I havent missed any juicy gossip, we also had another addition to our family last week, wee girl, one more in November & that will be 4 babies this year:TGratitude is the best Attitude :T

Well spoons are on strike so not much flying here. Although I’ve now got two strawberries. They will be heading in the direction of neice and nephew. In good news I called docs and the locumagreed to put me back on Noriday although he said he didn’t think mymental/emotional issues was because of the Cerazette. I thought he’s not dealt with many women onthe pill as I know a lot who have these type of issues because of thecontraceptive pill
Pigpen – Ooh I’dbe fizzing with anger, how you keep your cool I’ve no idea. I was advised to get pregnant at 23 as thatwould help, they think I have Endometriosis but won’t explore it because I had aPulmonary Embolism.
Optimistic-Mummy – Notrambling at all all information helpful
Lamewolf – Hope youare having a spoon filled day today. Sometimes I can’t hack workmen on my owneither especially when my brain is foggy
Nicki - Hope that the alarm has stopped
Thrifty – Whatare you planning to do with the cherries?
SkintBreeder – Nowonder you CBA, you need a bit of a rest me thinks. (((hugs)))
Mumto5 – How is DS3ankle today?
Bossy – Woohoo 20days off
*Vanilla* Youneed to make another list for OH to make up for not doing the things he was supposed to
PoohBear – Hope DGDis feeling a lot better
Narc0lepsy – *Waves* Hi
HoneyBear – What Ido is open a word document and do it all in that and then copy and paste it andedit it. I find it easier doing it thatway but sometimes the editing in Word doesn’t come across on the MSE websiteand I still forget to add folk in at times
Macpep - Hope all the fleas have disappeared now

Ok, so it's been hard work, but I managed to focus entirely on the bathroom, ignoring other rooms I went into to put things away. That's normally where I go wrong, I'm too easily distracted

bitten into a large frog
DH said DS2 can have his sisters old room to game in but its been turned into a bit of a store, one of the bookcases is full of dvds that arent age appropriate if him and his mates are in there. so got all the dvds out of one of the downstairs cupboards and all the suitable ones are now upstairs and the grown up ones are all over the settee. im trying to alphabetize them so they can go back in the cupboard (after ive listed them as they are double stacked. first cupboard i tackled a couple of years ago and that has printed lists taped to the inside of each door so its easier (in theory) to find the one you want.
HHCx2 me thinks to finishSPC~12 ot 124

OK, the dress is washed (currently dripping into the bath cos I can't wring out worth tuppence); the loo has been scrubbed/vinegar-ed (limescale-battling tactics).
Emails all read, and a few no longer needed ones deleted. Accounts spreadsheets have been updated, and the provisional rota for Mr LW's work has been entered in the PDA - I'll write it on the kitchen calendar when it's confirmed.
Unknown caller (number came up, but not one I recognise or have in my directory) on my mobile duly ignored; if it's important they can talk to the voice mail. They didn't - and a visit to the Who Called Me? website elicited the info that it was a junk call.
I think I still have a tiddly-widdly little salt spoon left, so will do a quick Dys0n Tango, and get the duster-onna-stick and do what I can manage - dusting round the large dragons.;)If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
